PAC-man ROM 4.4 is a ROM build from scratch from AOSP with our own tweaks and options, including picks and features from the best ROMs out there!

Why choose among ROMs, when you have All-in-One !!

Code:
* Notification Drawer tweaks

* Lockscreen Notifications

* Active Display

* Appbar

* Gesture Anywhere

* Init.d scripts

* Build.prop Mods

* Statusbar Weather

* Recents RAM Bar

* PAC Console

* Latest Version Nightly Builds

* OTA Updates

* Changelog Viewer

* Basically if there is a cool feature out there and it's open source,
  then we will try to bring that feature into PAC-man
 (insert PAC-man eating a pellet sound here)

* And of course:[/B]

Code:

[B][COLOR="SeaGreen"]** See post #2 for extra information...[/COLOR][/B]

Code:
[COLOR="Red"]* By flashing this, you automatically void your warranty!

* If your phone breaks, blows up or runs away from you, do not cry to us!

* Do not ask for ETAs!![/COLOR][/B]

If the below looks familiar it's because @[B]cyril279[/B] wrote it! Many, many thanks to him for his help, extra thanks to @[B]razen_kain[/B] for his advice and support, and GREAT thanks to @[B]IconRunner[/B] for his original effort in bringing official PAC support to the i777!

A BIG thank you to @IconRunner for putting together the FAQ!!

Bugs & PAC FAQ

Bugs:

PAPrefs is currently experiencing issues with hdpi devices, this has been reported to the PA team. Check this post for the workaround.
Some functions of Rom Control do not work, one example is Signal/WiFi custom colours.

PACman FAQ

PIE FAQ

Q. What is PIE?
A. PIE is a new way to interact with your notifications. It provides easy gesture based interaction with all your system information without taking up valuable screen space. PIE is what you see in this image.

Q. How do I access Pie?
A. Swipe your finger from the pie gravity edge (default is the bottom) toward the center of your screen. While keeping your finger on the screen, drag your finger to the desired button and release to click.

Q. My PIE doesn't look like the ones in the screenshots. I don't see the Clock or notifications.
A. Notifications work either through the status bar or PIE. If the status bar is enabled, PIE reverts to just the softkeys. To enable the full PIE experience, enable Expanded Desktop by going to Settings -> System -> Power Menu -> Expanded Desktop (Status bar hidden). Access the power menu and turn Expanded Desktop on.

Q. How do I change PIE colors?
A. Go to Settings -> Hybrid Properties -> Interface and change the Navigation bar color.

Q. Buttons or keyboard rows near the edge of my screen are nonresponsive.
A. PIE's trigger area overlay is covering the edge of your screen. Change either the Trigger Area or Pie Gravity in Settings -> System -> PIE Settings.

Q. I don't like PIE, how do I turn it off?
A. To disable PIE set Trigger Area to None in Settings -> System -> Pie Settings. Remember to disable Expanded Desktop to turn status bar on again.

ROM FAQ

Q.Do I need to do a full wipe before installing this ROM?

A. Unless coming from a previous version of PACman it is highly recommended to do a full wipe before installing. This includes coming from ParanoidAndroid ROMs.

Q.What do the settings in Hybrid Properties do?
A. ParanoidAndroid has an extensive guide to the settings at this thread: [GUIDE][PARANOIDANDROID] A Complete Compendium on ParanoidPreferences [PA-Settings] Please do not post questions related to PA Settings in this thread, they are not ROM specific and all we'll do is point you to that thread.

Q.How do I turn on the Navigation Bar??
A.To enable the NavBar open Hybrid Properties, swipe the screen to the right to peek through to the menu.
Select Interface, now set your desired NavBar size with the slider.

Q.Something isn't working. What do I do?
A. First, make sure you are running the latest stable version. For i9100 users, try using the latest Dorimax kernel, for i777 users stick with the CM kernel provided. That should solve half the problems. If it persists, backup data using Titanium and do a full wipe reinstall. If the problem persists, report what it is and what triggers it so the dev can duplicate it.

So here's the story... these 4.4 builds are automated; I am NOT the maintainer nor the developer

I know there are several of you who have known about these builds for a while, but I (and others) felt the right thing to do was to create a new thread pointing to their existence. Think of this as a "portal" thread.

Have fun, be respectful and enjoy PAC!!!

Been on this ROM for over a month. Only thing I notice that is an annoyance is when your are using messenger and you put the phone down and it goes to the lock screen. When you go back to unlock the phone the swipe circle is way off the screen.

That's bc it locked in landscape mode. I've seen that on other ROMs. Are you the latest nightly?

Ah. Just tested again and locked the phone in landscape. It was off the screen when I unlocked it. Good find. Yes I'm on the 4/17 nightly. It has happened on every night as far as I can remember. Been using pacrom 4.4 since it came out.

Just installed it today (4/17). I can confirm the above as well. But other than that it has been doing great so far.

I have the same problem as I have since I found PAC ROM, I can only use it first time install and boot after a shut down or reboot it always got stuck at the "Samsung Galaxy SII" boot screen and does nothing else. I was hoping it would not do that this time around.

I installed this last night, very sluggish until I changed over to ART, and it's pretty snappy. I'm still trying to figure out how to go through and test the init.d settings, but for now, it's a keeper.

Hmmmm... That's a kernel failure. What if you flash renderbroken's kernel over it?

Well what I did was the following

Used a ROM wipe script
Wiped davlik, system, and cache
Rebooted recovery
Installed PAC and gapps
Wiped only davlik and cache rebooted recovery again
Wiped davlik and cache and rebooted into system

I have rebooted with my breath held and the three times I rebooted it came back but my trust is still low on each reboot

ART? I found it in dev options, but do you have to do anything else?

I went back to 3/31/14 build because I thought it was a little faster. Not much. I'll try enabling ART for the 4/19/14 build. I see it is a newer/replacement runtime for dalvik. I didn't know if there was any manual config that needed to be done via scripts.
EDIT: So I enabled ART. Took about 10 minutes to fully boot up. Seems to run smoother and not as jerky than using dalvik.

Almost time for a new phone. Going to wait until the LG G3 hits the stores to decide.That looks like it is going to be the winner though.
