I'd Google this before you try it if you don't know what it does. It's very experimental

Truth. There are still enough little "oddball" behaviors that I'm wondering what to try first. I might try going back to Dalvik and enabling the JIT compiler, but I'm going to overlay another nightly or 5 first.

Flashing a new nightly doesn't fix the lock screen issue. It has been an issue in every nightly.

Well, I keep getting the "Blame the Split Screen" message when something bombs, and I have no idea what to do to fix it.

I just flashed 4/19 and it had decided not to cooperate....at least not yet.

I got a lot of those 2 iri flash and may seem to have went a way except every time I use bluetooth and end the call

Wow...can't get the system ui to stop crashing...not sure what happened, but, I think I'll just slide back to Render's last CM11

Try switching to nova launcher. I remember that the built in launcher was giving me problems.

Did a complete clean install with format/data etc and it's doing much better. Started using Apex, but some things (like trying to get to the cam's settings) still give me the split screen message. what does that even mean?

Well, we can't use an xposed app for the lockscreen fix because it installs but it's useless if I can't use a module to semi fix the lock screen or isn't there a option to use rotation lock screen?

OK, but does that mean the little built-in game is causing the problems to the system? Or that's the joke and it's just stopped working?

Updating nightlies

A quick question. Do I need to download the entire .zip file in order to update a nightly? If I am doing it from the PAC Console is there a way to download only the updates and flash that. Downloading the entire file every time doesn't seem very efficient to me.

Has anyone else on AT&T had a problem receiving mms? I've checked the apn settings on this thing for an hour and can't seem to force it to receive mms. argh...

Just a joke. Has nothing to do with anything in the ROM called split screen. Kinda misleading. My first thought was that it had some sort of multi window app causing problems

1. Install the latest Xposed framework
2. Install Xblast tools
3. Install the framework for Xposed
4. Enable Xblast in the modules list
5. Go to XLocky and enable Lock Screen rotation
6. Soft reboot using the installer side of the xposed framework or using terminal emulator,
"su"
Confirm superuser request
"pkill zygote"

I use soft reboot but a normal reboot will work too

Not a forever fix but PAC ROM 4.4.2 is still in alpha right now

And anyone find PIE in these builds at all?

The battery drain on this ROM is ridiculous. It takes a very long time to be fully charged, practically all night, and it drains really quickly. I am wondering what the issue could be or if anyone else is experiencing this.

This is most likely caused by a rogue app. Install Wakelock detector or better battery stats so you can identify the offending process.
