I don't think it'll work properly, due to ramdisk differences. Best to stay on stock Pac kernel for now, to avoid issues.Has anyone ever tried to flash Renderbroken's kernel on this ROM?

Yes i did. It breaks things. Like SteveMurphy said, stick with PAC kernel. It's a good kernel :thumbup:Has anyone ever tried to flash Renderbroken's kernel on this ROM?
When I first flashed this, I had problems receiving and sending mms until I chose a different APN settings.Has anyone else on AT&T had a problem receiving mms? I've checked the apn settings on this thing for an hour and can't seem to force it to receive mms. argh...
I flashed 5/8 last night, got a call from my wife, and we had trouble having a conversation. Cutting out and echoing on her end. Unusable.Voice issues with 5/3 and 5/4 everyone I call says it sounds like I'm in a tunnel and they can barely hear me. I went back to one of my only backups of 4/12 and it was fine again.

I flashed 4/28 and voice calls seem OK as well. Going to stay on this until someone can verify if there is a problem with the latest builds.

Went back to 4/17, but on that one I get bluetooth abends after a call in my car. Will probably have to look elsewhere.
Well, maybe the old versions of his kernel but I flashed it on the new Beta of PAC ROM and no issues so far.Yes i did. It breaks things. Like SteveMurphy said, stick with PAC kernel. It's a good kernel ![]()

See my screenie
Also anyone getting complete reboots from using any of these ROMs, it shuts down randomly and then shows "Samsung Galaxy SII" screen then boots PAC.

Alright. I'll let the next nightly fix this then. :thumbup:Do not use a different kernel. Use only the stock one.

For me, two ROM wipe scripts, PAC nightly then gapps and anymore extras I want to flash but I might come back to this ROM in nightly beta versions or wait till the Kit Kat PAC Full release is available.Complete wipe? Kernel cleaning script?
