how come this is not on the cyanogenmod website for our device?
That is because this is an unofficial nightly. RenderBroken ported cm11 for us. :)

Render, did you forget to include the launcher in this? Cuz when I click home, the screen goes black. Also, when I restart the phone, it goes into a bootloop. I have tried reflashing it three times and each time, the same thing happens.
This build is no longer ported, it is built completely from source and using the i777 device blobs natively.

Also I have had no such issue like you explained Azeem. Did you wipe data/factory reset after flashing the Rom and GApps? And the Launcher is the updated CM launcher. I am sorry you are having so many issues. It has been rock solid for me all day.

This is what I did:
1. Wipe data/cache/dalvik/system using Mr. Cook's ROM Wipe Script.
2. Install the latest nightly of CM to get latest recovery (but it gave me a status 7 error when I tried, so I flashed ShoStock3 and then the CM nightly to get the latest CWM).
3, Rebooted in to recovery.
4. Flashed your ROM.
5. Flashed GApps 4.4.
6. Wiped Data/Factory reset
7. Reboot.

I filled out all the things like logging into gmail and cyanogenmod, setting time/location, but when it finished, no homescreen came up; just a black screen. To open browser, I had to use the lockscreen shortcut. Idk what is happening. :(

I flashed this barebones (no gapps, no add-ons,) and there weren't any issues whatsoever.
I added on BaNkS 4.4.1 GApps, and still everything works as expected.

thank you @RenderBroken

actually, azeem the flash order you listed might be a part of the issue? cook's script should be run JUST BEFORE cm11 for best results. The fact that the ROM boots for you suggests that everything went fine though... maybe your choice of GApps?

I used paranoidandroids 4.4 full gapps. OH, I flashed cooks rom wipe before installing the 10.2 nightly. You think that might be the problem?

It is fixed! It turns out that when I install GApps 4.4, it would not allow me to press the home button to return to the homescreen. Thank you very much cyril!

Weird, I usually just flash AJK AOSP 4.9 so I could either restore a backup or flash new CM nightly. Also I am not dogging Mr. Cook but I have had issues in the past using his rom script. I am not saying that's the problem for sure though. Also I am not sure but in-between steps 3 and 4 you should have:

Wiped Data/ Factory Reset
Wipe Cache
Format System
Wipe Dalvic

That said this is exactly what I did:

I started off already using AJK AOSP 4.9 so from there I flashed the latest CM Nightly
Rebooted recovery
Then I Wipe Data/ Factory Reset
Wipe Cache
Format System
Wipe Dalvic
Flashed Rom
Flashed GApps
Wipe Data /Factory Reset
Reboot System

That's it for me and as `

It is fixed as I stated in previous post, but switching from Dalvik to ART crashes everything. I am ok on Dalvik, but just a heads up.

Yea, I had typed the reply awhile back and sent it too late. lol. Also the PA GApps are supposed to work with ART correctly but I am not 100% sure ART is working as its supposed to with CM11 or CM11 on our phone.

It ran perfectly on Omni ROM. I can live without it. Apps only opened a tad quicker.

I downloaded it just fine.

First off, I don't have any sounds. Besides hangouts and Facebook noises.

Secondly, Play Music doesn't recognize my SD card.

Anybody have these issues?

If it isn't much to ask, could you include the option to select Launcher from Home like in official KitKat or even Omni ROM?
Im not sure I understand exactly what your asking. If you go to settings and under Personalization. There is the Home button and from there you can set the default launcher. But I'm not sure that's what your asking either.
