My APN is showing as wap.cingular

I can access 2G (Edge) network, but now when I switch to 3G only, it connects for a split second, then states No Service...

But my battery is now showing the proper percentage now and I was able to let the battery get down to 7% before I decided to recharge.

There are a lot more settings than just the APN: APN type, bearer etc. I have tried two SIM providers, required separate settings, the default settings did not work for either.
But 2G and 3G is the same what I know. If the provider have a split infrastructure, it may be possible in theory that the settings are enforced in 3G.

I had that too. The device is semi-bricked.
Try other USB ports, other PCs, possibly older SPFT. The fifth PC I tried worked (but not the first USB on that PC), maybe 50 flashes to upgrade before it worked.
Subsequent flashes has worked mush better...

thank you for your reply. I solved the problem reinstalling drivers on my laptop. The drivers included with "All Tools (14-2-8)" not worked for me (worked perfectly since now). I've found "MediaTek SmartPhone Driver Auto Installer v1.1236.00" that I think solved the problem.

Now I've the rom working on the watch but I've the problem that mac address changes every reboot and finding a solution in this forum.

Help me, I need the original unova ironman firmware of 320*320 1G/8G 3G call/data version.

Recently I bought this 320*320 version product which is capable of 3G(wcdma2100) call/data.
The 3G voice calling worked well, but the 3G data connection didn't work even though the indicators showed 3G data was on.
So I found a different firmware(IronMan_1.1_2.2.rar, build# unova ironman v1.1(2.2)20141016) which might be modified and flashed it into mine.
But the situation got worse. Now the 3G voice call doesn't work, either.
And I didn't backup the first installed factory firmware(build# v1.1_foreign), so I can't go back to the first state.

If there is anyone who has the original 320*320 version firmware,
please share it with me.

Ive got a premay 1900mhz 1/8 unit and had to jump a few hoops with sp flash tool and updating drivers for the TS on my pc before it would finally go. Im trying to put the manual device sync time button in swapplik but it requires root and this image doesn't appear to be pre-rooted. How do I re-gain root? Thanks


edit: just saw previous post saying to flash supers from TWRP. I'll give it a try.

So, did they provided you ANY working 3.4.67 KitKat kernel sources ?
If so, maybe we can work that out, and fix those sensors ...

IMEI may be lost or corrupted after installation

If your losing your IMEI (NVRAM on /data) that's becouse the current rom is overlapping the data/nvram region or, something else is messing with it ...

I need your help...Please...I flashed successfully ironman ROM and it worked nicely...Then I thought I will try monxdified ROM so I flashed that via TWRP and that's it after that nothing worked....It got stuck in logo... I removed the battery and then again tried to flash ROM but now my pc doesn't recognize thedevice...When I plug in USB battery on the omate start flashing and after 4 5 flashed it become black and no response.....I tried to put ROM in sd card but sd card doesn't seem to work in TWRP. Can somebody please help me.:crying:

Try other ports, cables, PCs, Win versions.
I had to flash 50 times to upgrade to KitKat...
The flash for Omate often fails but there are no report of a permanent brick.

There are some 4.2 sources only. Maybe for the x201, but many crazy MediaTek patches, not buildable (I have not tried).
There are repos on GitHub.

The KK updates for x202 are close enough supposedly only the sensorhub is different.
To my knowledge, there have been no attempts to port to 4.4 for the x201 (I have not talked privately to Omate, basing this on public posts by Laurent/kuronosan). Laurent Le Pen has said that it was "more complicated than expected", but considering how well the x202 ROM works I find this a lame excuse for not having any Android competence, all work done by MediaTek that Umeox/Omate probably did not want to pay to do the update.

Ok, I managed to install the ROM and it works really great for now.
But I'm missing the Omate watch face app from the OStore. Is it possible to install it anyway? Or is it possible to install the OStore?

Kuronosan...I was one of the early adopters for the Omate and just did the update... wow. Many thanks. I just started to play with it but I really liked how google now is working.

Almost half a year has passed since this great ROM was released.
In the meantime, is there a solution for the missing drivers of the sensors?
Will there ever be an updated version of this ROM released? If so, it would be really great!

+1... Iam waiting a rom with working sensors too, i am actualy in 4.4 and this rom is very good, it can be perfect if sensors work...
