What's everyone's battery experience. with? I have the impression, even with Google services activted, BT on, WIFI on, and searching for Cellulair network (but no SIM inserted) It beats the hell out of JB.

I got that once but it was in between a refresh of the ROM.

Let me play around and see what can be done for that.

I remember doing something to not get that screen...

D.
Hey never mind, I did a factory reset and installed the Google Now launcher first and I'm all set!

DRAM fail means it didn't read the scatter correctly and couldn't initialize the chip. What happens when you format + download?

Get the stock stuff here:

Or the full backup here:

I updated my TS EU version 1/8 GB and I have encountered 2 issues. In the wifi list appear a network called NVRAM WARNING:Err=0x10
In the other hand the phone app shows me that is not installed so I can not do calls. But I can receive calls or send calls throw the contacts.
I can get to see the dialpad and log going to the contacts -> choose one contact and press to send the number to the dialpad.
Now we can do calls.

Is this a bug? Or flashing issue?

About the SWApp Link now it works more fluid. Now the notifications are instantaneous.

About the BT communications with headphones continues as bad as the stock version.

I have the NVRAM thing show up in my Wifi networks too. It didn't in the original Unova ROM. Wifi seems to work fine and otherwise it works as expected and after a couple of seconds the local Wifi networks show up. Not sure if everyone sees it but it has been mentioned by others too. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

It's a launcher bug, install any launcher and you'll get a working phone app, i've tried google now but prefer Nova launcher.

I followed these instructions, but couldn't paste the copied files, so far after deleting the files the warning hasn't come back.

This happens when your preloader acts wonky due to a bad flash. What I do is grab the stock scatter file, flash the preloader, and format and download the stock firmware.

I've had to use a different computer when this happens. Your computer basically looks at the device, says "oh I know you", while the flash tool says "hey have you seen this device". The computer says "yes!" and then proceeds to waste the flash tool's time by standing around not saying where.

Sometimes you just have to ask another computer.
The fifth computer worked.... A Vista PC with almost broken HD (starts in 15min, shuts down n 5) after two Win8 and two Win7 PCs failed. (It may seems like bad PCs with bad OS work better, but that is not an advise.)
That PC is flaky and the flash failed halfway flashing, so well after the preloader was fixed. Some 15 flashes on the normal PC (one format) to get the old version running once. Sometimes the screen lit up when pressing the Power button, sometimes it seemed dead, sometime it started booting and hanged. Battery pulled most of the times
After only one failed KK flash, the TS started with KK.

Thanks to everyone that helped me, @Shonky*, @Blufires but of course especially @kuronosan.

Now to fix everything else.

3rd party launchers and swipe status bar

Is swipe status bar working for anybody with 3rd party launchers? Used to work on 4.2 but swipe status bar does not seem to work for me on kitkat.

EDIT: found answer on google+

For a EU Omate, I think everything works fine, except NVRAM WARNING:Err=0x10 and phone-not-installed issues. Now I am gonna try to fix them as you said :p

My question is... what about Fleksy? I want it back!! The default keyboard is awful >_< Suggestions?

EDIT: I'm using Root Explorer, but it says that my Omate is not root :/

To fix the phone issue you can go to apps and delete launcher data.

NVRAM WARNING Err = 0x10

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2730486

Note that those instructions will set the wifi MAC address to that of the downloaded fixed files. This will be a problem for example if you have several devices with the same fix on a wifi network.

The following post edits the file instead.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2197378
I copied the address from my wifi router and used adb pull/push to make this as simple as possible.
I also had to pull out the SIM to disable lockscreen slide, but it may be something else.

You need to enable root, see second post by kuronosan.
Flash SuperSU beta in recovery.

@kuronosan

I tried to flash my Omate Truesmart:
received 13 June 2014
last known firmware: retrosmart rom
aluminium case

After the red bar appeared I got a BROM ERROR message S_FT_FORMAT_FAIL (4010) - Format flash error! Possibly given a wrong format range, please check your format setting.
For the moment I can't power on the watch anymore (I'll try by removing the battery).

EDIT: I removed the battery and tried again. The problem is with the USB driver which is flaky when the watch is connected while powered off.
Even though I used the DPInst64.exe file to install the driver (and which works perfectly well when I connect the watch while it is on), when I connect it while power is off, Windows 7 always tries to install a new driver which sometimes works, sometimes not.
I finally managed to get it connected in the power off state, and the whole process went flawless. I'm now the lucky owner of a KitKat Truesmart.

Thanks Kuronosan!
