This rom supports native OTG and does not require apps like stickmount. As for that OTG fix, I submitted that fix to Prime Directive for the Vanir rom and it just replaces the vold file with one that works for that rom.
Revolt already has a properly working vold file, so the fix would do nothing for it. Also, any of the kernels you mentioned support native otg, so you need to look elsewhere for a solution. I would start with a fresh install of Revolt and make sure apps like stickmount or OTG helper are not installed to eliminate them from the equation. Although Revolt's stock kernel supports OTG, flash Oxydo or any of the others you mentioned to guarantee it.
Connect your OTG cable/flash drive and boot your N7. The first thing you should do is check settings/storage and you should see the flash drive listed as USB Storage, showing total and available space for the flash drive. If you see this, it's working properly. If not, something else is wrong, probably with the cable or flash drive.
