Error 7 fixed in Philz 3.99. (Angry ROM uses 3.91)After a full wipe (cache, Dalvik-Cache, system, data, preload, emmc.....) i get the installation aborted and the "device status 7"
I was with the latest Philz kernel and on ANGRY v3 (JB 4.1.2) rom....
As stated, unfortunately also with the latest Philz 3.99 kernel (which I've manually updated after Angry V3.2 installation) the problem seems not to be solved......Error 7 fixed in Philz 3.99. (Angry ROM uses 3.91)
I was with the latest Philz kernel and on ANGRY v3 (JB 4.1.2) rom, I also tried to flash the abyss 4.2 kernel and redo !!
May I suggest flashing DSP Manager, ... Search for it on XDA, you will find it then Tell me what you think of Sound on AOKP ROMs ... At least ReVolt .......I'll guess it's the same here on this ROM as it is with other AOKP and CM10 ROMS that the sound volume is a bit low compared to the Samsung TW ROMS?
This volume thing is sadly the only thing that keeps me from using any AOKP and CM10.x ROMS atm since i'm spending alot of time to listen to music.
Ok will do that. But it wont be for the next 2-3 days though. But i will let you know when i have tested it.May I suggest flashing DSP Manager, ... Search for it on XDA, you will find it then Tell me what you think of Sound on AOKP ROMs ... At least ReVolt .......
This will be a option that I will add soon to the ROM here ......
Few posts here coz theres few problems on the rom :thumbup:Do people use this rom? I actually find it very stable, like jellybam stable, with very good battery life. Im just surprised by the lack of activity in this thread. Thanks to the developers of this wonderful rom. Looking forward to future releases.

1 Its based on CM10.1 and is JB 4.2Just confused
This rom is based on jb 4.2 and cm10?
I have been flashing 4.2 roms quite alot these days but all the roms which are running jb 4.2 have cm10.1 so this rom is jb 4.2 but s it build on cm10.1 or cm10 ?
And im on utackas pa cm10 4.1
My steps shud be : wipe data and cache then flash rom and gapps , right ?
And isnt wiping cache or wiping dalvik the same thing ?
On OP the instructions says to wipe cache and next step is to wipe dalvik so m sure wiping cache or wiping dalvik are the same thing ... still want to be sure bcz m very nervous while flashing romss
Waiting for the answers thanks

Thanks mate ..1 Its based on CM10.1 and is JB 4.2
2 The best way is (Titanium Backup + Nandroid-Backup) WIPE DATA FACTORY RESET / WIPE CACHE / WIPE DALVIK CACHE (tick advanced, there is the option to wipe dalvik cache)
3 No wipe cache and wipe dalvik isn´t the same
Ok First, I would like to Welcome you to ReVolt JB !! And say Thanks for these complimentsI will share my experience once done. "_"
-------------------------------------------------------
From where to where? Ultimate JB (XXLSC Leak based) to Revolt JB.
Reason for quitting Ultimate JB:
1. Bootloops when battery is plugged out.
2. Data Leaks
Steps I carried to come to CM Based Revolt: First Flash CM 10.1 Kernel (as posted earlier by some inmate) and then you flash the ROM and then Gapps. Gapps d/w link is missing in OP but ofcourse its easily available with that search button in threads.
My first experience of ROM: very smooth, slim build and also tweaked nicely. Battery life is so distinctly visible when you come from the leak based ROMs. And besides got a new battery recently.I appreciate the dev to put up such a wonderful build. Bravo.
Few bugs/point outs :
1. In system toggles, does 2G toggle mean that your 3G/Data is On/Off. If it is, then I find that even after switching off the toggle when I go to settings and data usage I see that the data is still being used.
2. Update Me has I guess no role to play.
Rest everything is gr8!
All of these will be added to the stable build, NOT to the Nightlies .... I am going to add them just like I did with the s2, but that is going to happen once I believe the N7000 is ready for a STABLE build ... Stable builds for me mean, a high-end ROM with almost No bugs .... That's why nightlies are here, to test out the bugs before releasing a stable BuildJohnhany, the roms pretty solid. One question though, these are all nightlies. If the finish product comes out, will you include features like Touchwiz launcher and DSP manager to the rom? At first i thought all the features like from the S2 version was included.
