Deleting an account

After installing Revolt for the first time, I wasted a few hours trying to figure out why gmail refused to sync only to discover that I had entered the wrong email address. (I know ... bone head move, but what can I say). I was able to add another google account, and now all is well.

However I would really like to delete the first google account since it is sometimes confusing. Under Settings, Accounts, Google - it lists both accounts, with no obvious way to delete either one of them. Long press seems to just select the account as active. There is a "+" button for "Add account" so it seems I can add as many accounts as I want, so I presume there must be some way to delete them well.

Thanks

As I remeber, after you press on the account the sync options are shown press the menu button and you will find the remove account option

Just tried out the 4.2. and i have an issue with nova launcher. When i want to restart the Nova Launcher with the inapp function, the device reboots and stucks on bootlogo ( the samsung galaxy note logo ). I tried to reboot 3 times again with the same result.

Only data/cache wipe makes my note working again.

I can reproduce the issue, i tried it again. Now I'am back on my backup of the last Revolt-Nightly.

Do you have any ideas? Thx a lot!
After installing 4.5 I had the same problem. Nova Launcher is causing the device to stuck on boot logo. I don't know what this "inapp function" is what ichiaido is mentioning.

I would really like to have Nova Launcher. I feel that the Trebuchet Launcher is messing up the "real estate" of the home screen. A lot of space between bottom and upper screen + space between rows.

GPS status

I'm using ReVolt-JB-4.5-n7000 and I have a few questions mostly about the GPS status indicators.

One of the gps status indicators is seen in the upper left corner of my screen as you can see in the attached picture.
It is a 3 position indicator (i.e. missing, steady, or blinking).
Also there is a GPS toggle in the notification area that seems to be bright blue when the GPS is on and grey when it's off. (By the way, are these toggles in the notification area optional or selectable. If so, where are these selections made?)
Also I have a Tiled GPS toggle on the toggle screen (which I enabled from the toggles menu), although the indication colors seem to be the opposite of the colors in the notification area (i.e. it is blue for off and grey for on apparently - which is slightly confusing). And by the way I think it would be better for the tile to say "GPS enabled" instead of "GPS on". My reasoning is that it is difficult to know otherwise if the label on the button is a status indication or a command (i.e. hit this button to turn it on, kind of thing). Both types of labeling are commonplace making the meaning of a "GPS on" button pretty much arbitrary.

Is turning the GPS toggle on, the same as saying that the GPS will begin looking for satellites (and consuming battery power), or is it merely allowing an application to initiate such a process? If it is the latter, once an application starts looking for satellites, is there a way to stop that process to conserve battery power? Usually it seems that exiting from the GPS application does this, but not always. I have drained my battery at inopportune times on occasion because of this. Does one have to disallow applications from using the GPS location service in order to halt the high battery drain operations?

And sorry ... I have one question unrelated to the title of my posting. Notice that small blue indicator at the bottom of my attached screen shot? What is that? It is there even if I clear all the notifications, and nothing seems to happen when I touch it. I have played with every option in the revolt customizations in an attempt to get rid of it ... with no luck.

Thanks
~Paul

We're Back

Better late than never,,,
This is johnhany97 speaking here and I'd like to announce that ReVolt ROM is finally back! We've been gone for a while due to the fact I didn't have a buildserver and I was busy with my personal life but now I am ready for the comeback!

ReVolt ROM has been completely rebased to AOSP then adding features individually from AOKP and ParanoidAndroid to offer the best experience and more smoothness than ever! The ROM has a new feel, a better one in which it proves to be more stable, faster than ever and smooth as ever ;)

The list of devices has changed a bit as not all the devices made the upgrade to KitKat and some devices were just excluded from this release as I didn't have enough time to build for them!

Supported devices in Beta 1.0:
-Nexus 4 (mako)
-Nexus 7 (grouper)
-Galaxy S2 (i9100)
-Galaxy S2G (i9100g)
-Galaxy S3 (i9300)
-Galaxy Nexus (maguro)
-Nexus 10 (manta)
-Galaxy Note (n7000)
-Galaxy Note 2 (n7100)
-Xperia ZL (odin)
-Xperia Z (yuga)
-US Galaxy S3 (d2lte)
-Nexus 7 (flo)
-Nexus 5 (hammerhead)
-US Galaxy S5 (jflte)
-Nexus 7 LTE (deb)

Currently, I have no proper access to a build server, so all the builds have been done locally on my PC, so It took me time to build for all of these then upload to the download servers with my internet connection. So Donations are up so you guys could help me find a new build server to use!

One of the new features I am proud to announce is ReVolt OTA!
It's based on PA OTA to support ReVolt ROM and is fully functional and is going to help you guys to update the ROM easier and faster easing the usage of ReVolt ROM

Most of the XDA Threads have already been updated, I'd like to note that a couple of devices from the mentioned above still don't have threads, they will by tomorrow though!!

One important notice also is that ALL BUILDS HAVE NOT YET BEEN TESTED!! Hence the BETA tag on the builds! Use builds on own responsibility and please report feedback using appropriate means!

Download from:
www.drdevs.com/devs/revolt/

Thanks for your support and it's nice to be back.
Keep in mind the ROM is going to see way more features and updates in the future so stay tuned :D

Enjoy ReVolt!

Thank you for the new ROM for out old Note :highfive:

Just installed the ROM.
A couple of things (nothing major just my suggestions):
Might need to change the bootanimation because it says JB :p
I would like the 'select input method' notification to be gone or atleast some way to disable it. Or is there one and I am not aware?
I am sorry if I sound silly
Will report back if I find anything else
EDIT: No notification or option (in settings>storage) to change USB connection method

the option is already there in ReVolt Control to hide IME Switcher which is the "select input method" notification
I will check the USB connection method

As for the boot animation I am still looking for a designer to help me create the new one

(*Sorry for my bad English)

Oh Awesome ROM Man! I love it, great job! I have only some quickly improvement, but only if you have time ;)

- on the top of the screen, at right, can I have the name of the day in uppercase? For example now is "sat" and i want "SAT" :D
- some forced reboot :(
- video lag in YT app
- on the navbar: "power menu" function for long pression is not present
- if i do a long pression on a touch botton, and the button function for long pression is "none" i don't want, when i release the button, that he do the action as short pression. Simply, don't do nothing please!
- negative color function is not present
- black color function for menu is not present
- can i have at the same time both quickly panel when i pull down notification and tiles? (for example: CarbonROM. I don't know if you understand me at this time \0/)

Thank you man! And good job!
