[ROM][KK][Jan 18] -=- CloudyG2 2.2 -=- [All Variants]

Hi,

I have an unlocked LG G2 D800. I was planning to install cloudy g2 2.2 on it. While reading the steps i came across a step where i have to install KK baseband version for D800, does this mean after installing this baseband i will lose my unlocked version?

User error for sure. Read the instructions and then try to describe whqt os version were you running and provide more details.

After using my G2 D800 very long time, last 1 month I am facing "INVALID CARD" problem. Sometimes it autofixed after turning phone off for long time and re-insert SiM.
But now I am facing it and unable to use my SIM.
I tried factory reset/ Re-flashing ROM/Re-inserting sim many times ..... Just pissed off. Any SOLUTION Please????

Hi, I'm from Blisspop Rom 6.4 using hybrid bootstack and lambda kernel, what steps do I need to install CloudyG2 2.2?

Clean wipe > flash KK baseband > install ROM? Or do I need to flash another compatible bootstack?

PS. Can't use the KDZ/TOT to revert to stock ROM cause PC has a problem in driver "LGE Android MTP" I did try to uninstall and reinstall the driver but no luck

Btw my G2 is F320L Korean variant.

Bluetooth force close workaround

For those who have problems with bluetooth force close when using bluetooth audio (e.g. with spotify, deezer, etc.). Here is a possible temporary workaround.

Get access to the app ops (use shortcut or any AppOps starter on play store).
Navigate to your music app in app ops list.
Disable the permission "media buttons".
Restart your music app (maybe you have to kill it before).

Now you can use bluetooth audio without FC. But without lockscreen media buttons.

Activate the permission again in the app ops list and restart your music app. Now you can use bluetooth audio without FC and with media buttons on lockscreen.

This is a temporary workaround. At the latest after the next reboot it's gone...

If you don't need the media buttons on lockscreen (it's also used for media control on BT devices e.g. your car radio). Then you can let the permission deactivated. This will fix the BT FCs even after a reboot.

Some like lollipop some like kitkat better. I prefer kitkat for better battery life and better performance (temp is lower on kitkat i think phone gets more heat on lollipop because there is more strain on cpu on lollipop).

Silence/sound settings are more simple on kitkat i just prefer that too.

With UI biggest changes are animations, notification drawer and recent apps screen. Nothing major. For me kitkat wins the battle

I know this is a little late but do you have Viper4android or any other audio mods installed? I just did a clean install of this rom and listened to some music on spotify without v4a installed on my bluetooth headphones and it didn't drop out once. Then I installed v4a and it dropped out 3 or 4 times in just one song that lasted about 4 min. I just uninstalled the driver from the v4a app and now everything is good again, with no drops for about 30 min or so

EDIT: Have testet it now and unfortanetely it still breaks bluetooth
