My tablet is Samsung tab 4 7 inch screen white, model number of sm-t231 and android version kitkat (4.4.2) with kernel version of 3.10.0-5856261dpi@SWHD4322#2

My tab doesn't support OTG port but when I check online Samsung galaxy tab 4 supports OTG. When I asked some mobile centers your tab android version should be lollipop or above to support OTG, they said. I wanna know what really is going on in my tab. Is there anyone who can help me? ?????

Isn't there stock lollipop Samsung firmware out for the Galaxy tab 4 7in ?
I mean not all of them but I saw that the Sprint models run official Lollipop
And also Att models have official Lollipop. Know shouldn't we be able to get ahold of those firmware and make them work for our models? Maybe I should start a new thread on this subject ? I only have spotty WiFi at this time and didn't save the websites but a Google search should turn up the articles I found they looked Legit ! So that means there are Galaxy tab4 7in running official lollipop !
Since what I saw was for Sprint or ATT models I am guess it's models with sim card , not sure all the difference in hardware between with sim model and no sim model. Or why lollipop doesn't have the code to run the hardware in the no sim model and KitKat does? Maybe one of the devs know

So I have question about this rom , so play store works on it ?
And it registers as KitKat or lollipop , because there are some apps I use only show up @Playstore if lollipop is detected like Hulu , and CW app won't run on KitKat, so this rom does it register runas KitKat or lollipop?

If this can it would be probably the most useful rom for this device but it seems that it is just a skin...
