***NEW BUILD POSTED***

Okie dokie folks. New build is done, uploaded, and available for download. OP has been updated to link to the newest build (1021). I think (but can't be certain) that I fixed the backlight options not working in Settings. If not, I know what it is and will get it fixed on the next build.

Dirty flash should be okay if you are just updating. CLEAN FLASH ALWAYS if coming from any other rom.

Next week's build should see some improvements in speed in smoothness (fingers crossed).

If you want to see what has changed then check out the gerrit for LS linked in the OP. I know there were a lot of Camera changes and fixes as well as changes in the framework base. If you run into any issues, just let me know.

Well, thought I would have a build up today, but having major issues with build errors that I haven't encountered in the past. So I have some work to do to get it all done. But it may be a while as real life is getting pretty busy at the moment. But I'll keep trying!

***HEY HEY!! GUESS WHAT?? YUP, THERE'S A NEW BUILD POSTED!***

Okay folks. New build has been posted and the OP has been changed with the latest build link.

You will notice something different. The name of the file is "3.2 Milestone". For an explanation on this, see this post from Sean Hoyt. In other words, this has hit the point they feel it was fit to have the name "Milestone". The use of the term "Official" was dropped, and the G+ post explains that.

Another point to note. If you look at LiquidSmooth on Github or their Gerrit, you will notice a new branch. And yes, it is Android 5.0 "Lollipop". What does this mean? Well, it simply means the LS team has started the work on merging 5.0 and starting on the next leg of the journey. I'm sure there will still be support for the KK branch for now. I have no intention on trying to merge the 5.0 branch myself yet until they have something decently stable running. In other words, yes, Lollipop is coming (hopefully) but don't get too excited just yet.

That's all for now. Happy Flashing!

Don't lie to them, they can get excited. Slim already merging as well. CM however hasn't started to my knowledge. One thing to note tho, don't expect lollipop aosp to devices unsupported by official Google until 2015 tho

That's why I said not to get TOO excited lol. Omni has a booting 5.0 build right now. But that of course is on a Nexus device. I won't even think about it for this one until the S3 at least has a decent L build. And especially the i9100 if they keep support for it.

Hi,
I'm trying out this ROM and love it so far. Everything works good.
I did notice a minor bug, not sure if anyone else has seen it:
Every reboot or power-on I get a notification to select a keyboard layout.
Has anyone else noticed this and is there a work around or fix?
Thanks!!

Ah yes. That infamous bug. Thanks for pointing it back out. There's a commit there to fix it, but I forgot to pull it during the last compilation. I'll be putting out a final v3.2 Milestone sometime in the next week and I'll be sure to include that fix again for it. Glad everything else is working out well for ya!

Thanks!
Did find another unless I'm just missing something.
The proximity sensor doesn't seem to be working, rotating the device doesn't change the screen orientation.

On the home screen or while in an app? There are settings in Settings>Display that let you play with rotations. I haven't heard of that issue popping up yet.

Working on cm12. No recovery support currently for this device so you'll have to know what you're doing if all goes well. Will be PURE ALPHA. In no way will it be a DD. But alas it will of course be coming with shift kernel. I feel good the necessary changes have been made to complete build. We shall see. Sorry I've been nonexistent but I've been busy in n2 kernel, n2 cm12, 2 n2 cm12 kernels with different mali etc. Hopefully I'll have something new to play with. I was running it earlier on n2

I've been waiting to see them update the device tree for the i9100 so I would know what may need to be updated for ours. LS has alpha builds out for quite a few devices now. I have been keeping source up to date but haven't even started trying to build it yet.

+1 for looking for an i777 or i9100 or n7000 5.0 device-tree. For ANY firmware. Or am I not looking well enough?
