This is an UNOFFICIAL build of Beanstalk for Honami and by NO means this is my ROM. I am just compiling from source and 100% credits goes to Scott (@scott.hart.bti)

Please nandroid backup your handphone first.

1st Time Installing
  • Download the zip
  • Download Gapps
  • Install stock kernel image in the zip file (see notes below)
    (open zip file with 7-zip, navigate to \system directory, extract boot.img to your pc, close 7-zip, power off your handphone, push vol up while connecting your handphone to pc, open command prompt, type "fastboot flash boot boot.img")
  • Boot to recovery
  • WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
  • Format /system
  • Wipe dalvik cache
  • Install the update zip from recovery
  • Install gapps
  • Wipe cache
  • Wipe dalvik cache
  • Reboot

Note: I found that Pimped kernel is not compatible yet with this ROM, so it is advised to use stock kernel

Already Using Previous Version of Same ROM
  • Download the zip
  • Boot to recovery
  • wipe Davlik Cache and Cache
  • Install the update zip from recovery
  • Reflash gapps
  • Reboot

4.4.4010 Online

Beanstalk has been bumped to 4.4.4010.
Repo synced, building now
Edit: Online!, see OP for download link.
Playing a bit with my built, so far changes in 4.4.4010 that I found are:
  • Added App circle bar
  • Added Driving mode (not working?)
  • Added Weather
  • Added Shake Events QuickTile
  • Misc Fixes

boot.img for ver. 4.4.4010 with TWRP 2.7.1.0

Been missing TWRP recovery?
Personally speaking, TWRP is my favourite recovery, and I successfully repacked boot.img with TWRP ver. 2.7.1.0.
Credits to @osm0sis for providing Android Image Kitchen and @humberos for building Omnirom here.

Installation: (nandroid backup first, just in case)
- download img file here
- power off handphone
- press vol up while connecting handphone with pc
- open command prompt, and type "fastboot.exe flash boot bootBeanStalk4010-TWRP.img"
- reboot to recovery (to check)

There are many themes for TWRP out there (search with keywords "TWRP theme 1080")
BTW, I use X-trem theme as shown in attachment.

Sources for Beanstalk 4.4.4050 is out.
Hopefully compiling is going well so this afternoon/tonight we'll have Beanstalk 4.4.4050.

New build (4.4.4050)

Beanstalk ver. 4.4.4050 online (OP updated with download link)
Things new in this version (that I notice):

  • Driving mode not crashed anymore
  • SlimROM pie
  • PA pie Controls
  • New Set up Wi-Fi hotspot (can choose WiFi Tether Network)
Maybe more...

Note: I embedded TWRP recovery in this version, and plan to keep using TWRP for upcoming versions if possible

    New build online...with new theme engine

    Although version number is same 4.4.4050, there are many changes done by Scott (@scott.hart.bti) including:
    - new theme engine
    - apps2sd
    - Heads Up Notification
    - Internal Memory QuickTile
    - On-The-Go QuickTile
    - Shake events QuickTile
    - App circle bar
    - Gesture Anywhere
    Not sure whether some of the features above already existed in previous builds or not.
    Additional update: TWRP recovery is updated to version 2.8.0.0

    To install, please follow instruction at OP (better nandroid backup first, just in case...)
