Sync with the latest DotOS source and device sources.

Now It's prerooted with latest Magisk.
I replace GPS files with latest stock firmware so now GPS should work.

Awesome rom! Great launcher and customizations! I Just regret that oreo only have a 3*3 unlock pattern. Maybe for a compatibility with older roms when your phone is encrypted?

It seems to me that it has nothing to do with encryption but maybe.

Holy ****, i have flashed dozens of roms, but with this one i have an issue... Flashing of rom goes well, like gapps, but after reboot, i am just stuck t bootloop on Samsung s4 screen. Using latest twrp, wiped everything before flashing .... Does flashing of this rom have special needs or i just have bad luck ???

Hello! This problem is in most oreo roms "More here less there". I try to prevent him, but it is very similar in the case of LineageOS 15.1 from kyasu. After install ROM etc. try to clear dalvik cache and in next reboot.

A few weeks back all ROMs for our device were behaving badly. Recent builds have averted the issue. However, recently, I built and flashed a ROM that was working perfectly (ie no boot-loops) UNTIL I flashed the latest (ie beta) version of Magisk. ie the boot-loop issues does appear to be possibly still on a "knife edge".

Have you made any changes to the ROM or does this occur when the ROM is "clean"?
I don't think this is the issue, but are you using the latest version of GApps, and maybe try different builds (ie Pico/Nano etc)
One thing I though when I first saw the loop, was that I had caused it myself, as I had my Data and Cache formatted as F2FS. Out of interest, have you reformatted your partitions? I am not suggesting you do so, but on my previous device, it was plagued (ie unusable) until the data partition was reformatted to F2FS. NB: that was very specific to that old device, and in no way related to our devices,

Moreover nothing to do with oreo ... flashed unoffical oreo resurrection remix from @darkness and this one has 4*4 or more unlock pattern.

I was just thinking at the last time i flashed an official lollipop rom on a crypted device i needed to enter x times wrong 3*3 pattern to uncrypt the phone because the phone had been crypted on a nougat rom with a 4*4...

I use your dotos rom for about two weeks now and i think it's very battery friendly and bug free exept gps (i use your last update) and mtp. No bootloop at reboot for me (exept when phone's temp is very high, ~90°C, after a backup then a restore for example).
