[ROM][KTU84P][4.4.4][BETA 5][FINAL] AOSP/CodeAurora kitkat-4.4.4

[PecanCM]

This rom is based on CodeAurora's Android Kitkat 4.4.4 source (AU_LINUX_ANDROID_KK_2.7_RB1.04.04.04.007.065).
I have only made changes that needed to support our device other then that it's pure CAF/AOSP. it has no custom features to provide you stock android experience.

What's working:

Almost everything is working including the RIL, camera, audio/video, bluetooth/wifi, sensors, nfc and gps.

Know issue:

Install instructions

Before you install make sure you are on 4.3 firmware 1st with your bootloader is Unlocked and a cwm/twrp recovery installed. if you haven't installed recovery then flash boot.img from this rom zip via fastboot. (note: this rom comes with twrp recovery)

• boot into recovery
• Wipe data and cache
• Flash the rom and gapps zip
• Reboot

Upgrading from earlier version:

• Boot into Recovery
• Flash the rom and gapps zip
• Reboot

NOTE: If you reflash this rom or update to newer version then you will need to reflash gapps and su too as this rom don't have cm backup script.

AOSP (Android Open Source Project) – pure clear, initial Android which Google creates. It installed on Nexus devices.
CM11 using AOSP as base and just adds a lot useful customization options.
So no reason create another CM.

At first boot select Launcher 3 to get normal homescreen.
If you already selected test launcher go to Settings > Home

I can't find the option to turn sync on, my sync for google account is off and i can not turn it on. Is this intentionally or I just can't seem to find the option?

Edit: My bad, sync started working after restart.

Also i notice the phone is heating a lot. Should I apply the htest patch from cm11?

Awesome rom clean and bugfree
I only saw a few resize fault like sim-unlock the buttons are not right shaped see attached screenshot and dude some things are really outdated like the music player I used this one last time in gingerbread

But need to say awesome ROM ? keep it up

Performance of ROM is better than cm11

So far 3 bugs noticed:
*GPS not locking even after 3 minutes... Always shows waiting for location
*launcher3 settings is unfunctional
*aosp kb swype is not working

Tried restarting but still GPS not locking though its symbol is visible in statusbar... Any solution...?

Try to download agps data via "gps status and toolbox" app from playstore maybe it will help. BTW GPS in this phone is just shi... this morning I tried to record my track but didn't find location at all (my track was like 10-20 minutes).

No bro for Stock 4.3 ROM gps is working fine... Most of the time accurate. In Indian region
