LeWa OS for HTC Legend​

Description:
This is a port of the LeWa OS Rom. The official website is http://www.lewaos.com/, but everthing in chinese.
I will provide two versions, one based on 12.05.25, where I will try to translate as much as possible and
a version based on the latest LeWa release, which won't have a translation except english and chinese.
When the latest LeWa release is stable enough, I will switch to it as stable base.

There are some scripts build in which asks for root permissions, so allow it.

If there any issues, please report them.

1. Make a Nandroid backup
2. Wipe data and cache
3. Wipe dalvik cache
4. Flash the rom
5. Reboot

My changelog (as of 12.06.12 these are dates and not release numbers)

18.06.12:
- Phone.apk replaced with the one from this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1628337 (thanks to ramezzidane)
- translated lockscreen
- maybe something more... but I don't remember >.<

12.06.12:
- switched back to odex version
- translated Phone.apk
- translated SystemUI.apk
- minimalistic gapps are included, if they fc, flash gapps :)

12.06.05:
- deodexed rom
- added to nealy all system apks (which are in cm too) the missing languages = Multi-Lang
- added stock calendar
- added stock mms app for testing
- removed 360Calendar
- removed LeWa Gaming Center
- removed gapps, just flash gapps after installing :)
12.05.25:
- new base
- gapps included (had fc at the end of the wizard, anyone too?)
- translated framework-res.apk (system dialogs are in the chosen language)

Wow great work! I was looking at porting it to Legend but I wasn't able to download the MDPI ROM from LewaOS's website :/

Good ROM, but if it's only in English and chinese...
Looks like we will never have a multilanguage fully working CM-based ROM (Like this or MIUI) on our Legends...

YES, it worked!
Here is a screenshot:

The settings and the framework are mostly translated now. I will translate the rest, when I fixed the two issues.
Here is a patch for the translation. With this patch you can choose between all cm7 languages. The whole rom won't be translated, only system dialogs and the most settings entries, but user apps should be in your native language(if the app has this translation ).

No, because the messages app itself is not translated. The system dialogs are translated and if an app is used which has this language it will be shown in that. But I can try to provide you the cm dialer and messages app or will have a look if the build in ones are using the default values from cm

this my favort Rom, i like it so much, please keep going, the only rom i have not face any problem yet, just the calendar in Chinese, i used Any.DO instead

Just a suggestion.. Usually apps crashes can be fix using CWM Fix app permission..
Maybe you can try that one first..

Well, only the default apps crash, and only sometimes. I will fix permissions and see what happens

I'm working on the next version. Stock calendar and dsp manager will be included. All included (cm7) stock apps will be translated, everything else will be in english.
Until this is done, I won't update the rom base, since every friday a new (official) lewa rom is released.
My current problem are that bluetooth.apk don't likes to be deodexed...
