I'm installing this ROM in my Legend now

Here's my feedback of this ROM

Very Smooth
Customizable as MIUI
Screen Buttons (Home, Menu and Back Buttons)
Launcher (I love that type of launchers )

Need fix permisions to be stable (without do that I found many FCs)
Lots of untranslated parts (Even if in the AOSP android are included)
SDManager crashes everytime
In some parts it's impossible to read the text (same color as the background, the text is below a button...)
The emergency call button in the PIN screen is messed up
The super user app is in chinese
The are no ringtones
It's impossible to access to the online themes database (FC)
The Calendary app is messed up
The Launcher crashes sometimes (when you exit fron car home, for example)
The date on the lockscreen is in chinese
I can't play any music (looks like the apps can't find any music file) and with the Lewa Music Player I get a bootloop (Scanning, Library, Scanning, Library...)

And I think there are some usefull things, like:

LeWa Account
Update Option
CStore
Feedback app
Intercept app

And some things I think can be better:

The Keyboard: I think that maybe a keyboard in blue colors would fit with the rest interface
The Camera app: I think the MIUI camera app is better
The Bootanimation: I think a chinese animation don't fit with a translated ROM.

Anyway, Very Good ROM!! Now I have my Legend like this:

Okay, here are some news to my progress:
I think the fcs are caming from deodexing the rom, in the previous version (12.05.25) there where neally no crashes.

I will provide an actual version (based on the actual lewa rom version), where only the framwork is translated. In my last test, there where some new controls and i couln'd recompile the apks.

And I will make a second one, based on 12.05.25, where I will try to provide a nearly full translated and stable rom.

seems to be more stable, sd manager is not crashing, default ringtone is set, translated superuser
calling: you can make a call, but when you get one the phone app is crashing...

Some good news:

The dialer is working now for incomming calls... I just removed my number from this screenshot. I will add the fix to the stable tomorow.

how did you make the rom multi-lang? I would like to do this for my own phone, i9001.

Uhm.. first you have to unpack framework-res.apk fromt your lewa and your cm7 rom, then copy all value* folders that the lewa rom doesn't have from the cm7 rom to it. Now you should able to choose between more than two languages. With that some parts of the ui are translated. For the rest of the applications, you have to make this too, but some can be copied over from you cm7 rom. You can keep apks like the providers, systemui, settings and phone. The last three have to be translated and couldn't be from cm7 roms.

Do you also have a German Language Pack for your latest release?
I'm thinking about selling my Legend with this Rom preInstalled - but then it has to be german.

I could try add the translations to the latest release, but I don't know if this will work. Also not the whole rom is translated, only the system parts and a few apps, all lewa apps are still in english and chinese and I'm too lazy to translate then into german.

Issues on first-try

I flashed LeWa (stable), the translations and the gapps all one after the other after a factory/data and cache reset, on a rooted S-on Hboot 1.01 HYC legend. I have CWM 5.0.2.0 as my fake-flash.

I really like the appearance of the system, but this is what happened when I booted into LeWa-
*it started up without any setup/first-time boot wizard to help me with phone settings
*It did not register my mobile-service provider in the statusbar
*I could not enter the system settings app at all. It would crash as soon as it was opened, and I'd get the crying-from error screen.
*these problems persisted through three reboots.

I'm trying a clean flash now, without the translations zip, and I'll see if it's any better this time I boot up.

My second install with CWM 5.0.2.0 is working much better. I data/factory wiped, then cleared cache, and then installed the leWa-stable flash and the gapps for ICS. The settings app has started up easily, I was able to set up my google account, and I have not had an app crash yet.

i am connected to my home wLAN without trouble. My google account syncing button is greyed out, though, and tapping does not allow me to turn it on. The control switches for automatic syncing are on, but it is not going straight into auto-sync.

--- Tried deleting the google account and adding it again, it did not help, sync is still off for the google account, and tapping the account leads to an empty settings screen.
++ Sync with a hotmail/exchange account went fine
--- lacking widgets and unable to download them without a successful google account sync- can't connect to google play without it.
++ First time trying to record a video with the native cam app went fine, and playback went fine

I can upload a reworked Version, it's not the newest but my last Version where network, calling etc. is working fine.
