Xiaomi Redmi Note 7
Redmi 9A
WiFi has been working extremely slowly ever since I flashed this ROM. Previously, both 2.5G and 5G bands were working very well. I have tried flashing the oldcam QTI kernel from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...breaker-kernel-fast-battery-friendly.4028105/
Problem still exists.
Also, there is a battery drain issue. The battery used to drain within 1-2 hours when I first flashed v12.1. Then, I downgraded to v11/10 (can't remember which), along with OFRP, and the battery drain slowed down (still not as good as original MIUI).
After that, I again flashed latest MIUI global (tho my device is Indian), then flashed ArrowOS v12.1, and now the battery drain issue is back, but better than before. Lasts a bit less than v11/10.
The battery has been recently replaced, so it's not because it's old.

Update: Flashed Nexus Oldcam v10 kernel, wifi issue seems to be fixed.

When I'm trying to play something (i.e Spotify) over bluetooth on a device with LDAC enabled it shows as playing for a few seconds on my phone but the sound does not actually play and bluetooth disconnects and then reconnects after a few seconds. If I go to bluetooth device details and disable LDAC it works normally. Is LDAC not supposed to work on this rom for some reason? Is there any fix for it?
I have the same issue, has anyone found a solution?

Hello, someone using it?
I am considering I come back to this rom. It was the fastest and efficent rom.
Is it still that fast?

Android 13-s feels slow...

I'm having same issues. Have you checked on other roms? I think LDAC isn't supported on this rom maybe

Adopted Storage doesn't work.
- Did a clean installation. and installed all the essencial apps like magisk ect.
- Put in the SD card and select adopted storage.
- Phone is formatting the card and instantly going into a boot loop
only removing the SD card makes the Phone useable again

Very frustrating...especially after I chose ArrowOS over pixel experience because of its better customisation. Well not so customizable aymore...

great rom! Im using it since version 11.
Where I can download version 12.0? Because I don't see it here https://arrowos.net/download/lavender
I was extremely happy with that version, but I was tempted to update to 12.1 which gives me some unpleasant errors: screen is not locking when I'm talking & sometime when I call I don't hear ringing.

I've just noticed that version 13.1 has been released on the 31/07 on the official ArrowOS website, but I can't install it for some reason. I tried to flash through both TWRP and Orangefox but i get an error a few seconds after I try to flash it.

Am I the only one experiencing this problem ?

I loved 12.1 but unfortunately it lacks the "app lock" feature which I need.

Did you read the Changelogs and the "Flash tutorial" just underneath it? If not, then that is what you should do.

Thanks, i didn't notice there were extra steps for the install to succeed.

You need to use the proper TWRP img that's included in a link within the tutorial.
You also need to change your cache & data partitions to F2FS before proceeding to flash the ROM.

EDIT : While flashing the latest ArrowOS version, TWRP says it "failed to mount /metadata (invalid argument)". I think it said the same about /data. Will it cause any problem in the future to my phone ?

EDIT 2 : Apparently that makes Chrome/Google crash all the time. Should I go back in TWRP and modify my metadata & data partitions to F2FS ?

EDIT 3 : Just yesterday I could use the xmanager app to patch & install APKs, but now it always says "There was an error parsing the package". I don't know if it's because the app can't reach access the internal storage (/data ?) as it should.

The power button does not work well when the mobile is left unused for a while. It seems that it goes to rest and you have to give it two or three pulsations. It unlocks only if you press the volume button with the phone locked and change from sound to vibration for example

I don't know why nobody posted about this rom for Redmi Note 7, so I'll post about it.
I've discovered it randomly and loved it! It's one of the few maintained Android 12 stable roms out there!

    WHAT DOESN'T WORK?
    • As far as I know it all works

    INSTRUCTIONS
    • Boot into your recovery (I use OrangeFox)
    • Wipe data, cache, ART/Dalvik cache (you'll lose all of you data!)
    • Format Data
    • If you haven't already, flash the latest official MIUI (You can download it from here, choose the correct region!)
    • Without reboot, flash ArrowOS zip
    • Re-wipe cache and ART/dalvik cache
    • Reboot

I agree, I've been running their Android 11 rom for almost a year now and it's been rock solid.
    3
There is now official Update to 12.1
    Dirty flash worked for me.
    3
There no need to flash miui first.
Latest global FW is enough i think
    2
So Wipe Data and Cache, then use the Format Data function from custom recovery but between these no System Reboot. Right ?
Exactly. Wipe, Format, Flash MIUI (if you haven't the last) and then flash Arrow OS. Only at the end of this you can reboot in Arrow OS.
