CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.x (Marshmallow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Note: This is a BETA and an unofficial project.

  • Dual SIM
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bluetooth
  • Audio
  • Sensors
  • Camera (photo and video recording)
  • GPS (partially)
  • FMRadio (may not work on some devices)
  • OTG (use OTG-Helper)

Known Issues:
  • VPN (somewhat working)
  • GPS (it's enabled, need some improvements)
  • Camera (8 MP both front and rear - need to be fixed)
  • 3G/2G switch (maybe not big issue for wifi users like me) :p

Installation Instructions:
(Assuming users have installed a custom recovery)
  1. Reboot into Recovery
  2. Take a Nandroid backup (just incase)
  3. Clean device to Install new ROM
  4. Flash cm-13.0-2016xxxx-UNOFFICIAL-lcsh92_wet_jb9.zip
  5. Flash OpenGapps or BaNKs_Gapps for Android 6.0 (recommended)
  6. Reboot.
  7. Enjoy Marshmallow!

Nah. As we got no proper code from OEM, we'll stick to prebuilt. :)

Got Root?
CM ships with root, enable developer options and look in Settings -> Developer options -> root access

Browser crashes when downloading?
You need to grant it permission to access storage in Settings -> Apps -> Browser -> Permissions

Gapps crashes?
Use proper gapps, as mentioned in OP.

There's a non-device related bug? - such as SystemUI crashes triggered by doing some damn action, stray settings entries, theme crashes, translation, etc.
I just work for device specific - not something I'll fix.​

Thanks a ton for such a nice ROM. Flashed it yesterday and absolutely loving it.
It's actually much faster and smoother as compared to MIUI.

But can you help me with something, Ever since I flashed this ROM I can't find my phone's internal storage.

Tried ES, CM and Root explorer but none of them even recognizes that there's an internal storage partition.
Although I can see internal storage in the settings.

A great ROM! Every part works OK expect cellular data. It can't connect cellular data after closing Wifi, I have to enable airplane mode and disable it then the cellular data connected.
