Thank You LeeDroid for another great build.
Been running the ROM for about six hours now, no problem on S-On unocked European device.

On a side note, i think the biggest confusion with firmware upgrade is that there's full of dead links all over the place. thanks santod040 for your time reffering people (me included) to the right thread.

No problem, I don't mind helping.
But a lot of folks need to learn to try and help themselves first, by reading what's provided before jumping head first and then asking questions never having read anything.

Just for an example: the firmware thread is linked in the OP of this thread.

So I wouldn't 100% agree on the cause for confusion.
But again, I'm glad I could help.

I read this thread carefully since first information about Oreo appeared and I'm little confused about Ambient Display. Someone said that it was replaced by HTC Doze (which sucks for me), but I also found posts about configuring it in SystemUI Tuner - I don't have such an option there. I loved that function, so can somebody, please, tell me if there is possibility to get it back?

It's been a few months since I've used this rom and I see the OP now requires Oreo firmware for the latest version. I'm on Sprint and the Oreo firmware isn't available yet for us so I assume it's a no go unless I flash a earlier version.

Not sure what you selected.....or not in the aroma installer, i never experienced any software issues.

First time my clock did FC but i put the blame on @LeeDroid so that was an easy fix.......

On a serious note :
Clear the app caches and delete your account. Re enable the account and log in again.

Same here!I restart recovery.wipe cache,data,dalvik,internal storage.reflash the rom,but still force close play service .

+13 hours later and smooth as silk no problems since I bothered to read, read, read, researched alot read some more asked a few questions THEN flashed... gotta donation coming your way !!! this ROM kicks major ass ! gaming latency is freaking awesome hell touch latency is freaking awesome too !!! I don't know if it's pure coincidence but my phone signal and wifi hotspot is out of control! I was getting 2-3 bars in that certain spot in my house if I held it just right ...now it's 3-4 bars with upload download speeds close to 15/30mbps !!!!! GREAT FREAKING WORK MAN !!!!

Maybe you chose not to install Google Chrome in aroma..

I like seeing detailed information like this in your feedback, thanks for sharing it. I'm just curious, did you choose the stock HTC kernel option or CleanSlate Kernel when you flashed the rom? Are you using that kernel still from when the rom was flashed?

i did a firmwareupdate to 2.51.617.32
needed to change cid to 11111111
needed to change mid in firmware txt.
later i flashed to leedroid v5.0.0

in the menu i hit run crypted accidently, ( had unencrypted before)
so on start it wanted my pin.
i had no pin, so i reinstalled rom with unencrypted now again.
now it says i had to delete data
ok i deleted data
after this the phone stucks in bootloop
i reinstalled the firmware
i flashed the rom again
and wipe every partition in recovery 3.1.1.0
but nothing helps

whats wrong with my htc

Hey man... You need to format data in recovery then flash the ROM again, that will solve it.

Full format as in TWRP - Wipe - Format - type yes in the box...

Then flash

Correct. You can't run an Oreo ROM without the accompanying Oreo firmware.

I loaded the Oreo rom by wipe the Nougat rom. However, LeeDrOiD 10 V5.0.0 (Oreo) version is not opened at all. He's doing a continuous bootloop. I returned to the old LeeDrOiD 10 V4.0.0 (Nougat) version, but; The IMEI number of the phone has been DELETED. Please help.

Note:
Bootloader= Unlocked
S-ON

Free somehow imei number how can I restore it?
