Dirty flashed over original stock (but rooted ROM).
Took close to half hour to reboot - optimising apps was biggest part of time.
Then at startup, stuck on HTC Green logo. responsive, but only on capacative - recents key. Brought up settings, baseband is missing as I have no signal.
Went back to TWRP - formatted data, rebotting now with optimising apps. Nearly there, hopefully all ok.............
so, if i am with unlocked bootloader and full stock (no root), with data encrypted (and my twrp doesnt' accet decrypt password, but from what i've read it's normal at the moment), i've just to download your rom, put in the sd card, dirty flash it and i'm fine? Without losing data?
thanks for this fast job and already Rev 5 as far as I saw on the SVN! Damn your so fast
Can't wait for my 10 to arrive on saturday. As soon as unlock and S-OFF are done my 10 will run your ROM in line with my - then nice to have - HTC One M9.
The issue lies with encryption, if your data partition is decrypted your will have no mobile connection, once rooted dm verify is disabled..
Because your previous boot.img was rooted, forced encryption would have been disabled, so if you wiped it would not re-encrypt.
Try going into settings - storage - phone storage & enable encryption.
Restore your stock boot.img, reboot then re root.
If anyone hits the no mobile connectivity issue, run
adb shell getprop ro.crypto.state
If the device state is not encrypted, there lies the issue, you should be able to then go to settings and once again enable encryption (the via settings route I have not tested, if it fails, a stock boot.img will do the same job)
The fingerprint unlock action exists within the lockscreen activity so no matey
If the boot.img you are restoring was rooted it still won't restore forced encryption as supersu disables is when it patches the boot.img.Aha, ok, will restore my original backup (as I don't have my original boot.img unfortunately)- uninstall root (uninstall from SuperSU app) - reboot and ensure there's no root present, then I'll dirty flash LeeDroid ROM and hopefully this does the trick.
I tried the re-encrypt, without doing the above that you have instructed (re-flash stock boot etc) but it still came up with nil baseband/signal. Will go with backup restore and unroot, then flash the ROM, and hope it all works as planned
Will keep posted :good:
Leave data as is, we aren't touching it
