Auto rotate intermittent

Has anybody else found auto-rotate to be intermittent on this ROM? Every now and then, well, once a day or so probably, auto-rotate will stop working. When I restart the phone its fine again, but wondered if anyone else has had this and if they found a fix for it?

Is it kernel related? Should I try a different kernel? I love the ROM overall...great work by Lee.

Bug Report

OOOOk i can confirm the bug on this rom. I'll tell you the procedure i did and if somebody wants to try it we can compare if it's a real bug.
I flashed the Rom with clkwork 3.0.2.8 and straight on top of it the i/o patch.
I've rebooted. Went back to clkwork and flashed Batt % stock 1.84 (this one: http://tinyurl.com/65udqes )
I've rebooted. After i went in settings and setted the screen (i've set off the auto backlight). Changed the wallpaper to a coloured one and switched on the wifi.
If you go on the market , like i did, and you start downloading stuff if you go on the main screen while downloading you'll notice that the backlight flickers.
I wait for some confirmation. Thankyou all!

I seem to be having a few problems with the rom and im unsure if its normal or if there is something wrong. I've come from CM7 and leedroid does not feel anywhere near as smooth, further more putting adw over ....

Can't say I've had any bugs, just general slow down and a worse battery.

Anyone got CWM 2.x update.zip as the stock animationes update isn't compatable with 3.x tryed updating via ROM Manager but throws error, or SupremeBeaver/users could you update the .zips please.

Not quite understanding what you mean exactly mate. You want stock animations zip for the Froyo rom to be flashed with CWM 3.x?

If that's the case then i don't think it will work. You might need to roll back to CWM 2.x for it to work.

I'm actually thinking of coming back to Froyo after a day with the new Gingerbreath 3.0.3 GB... the new one has some bugs... and it bugs me.... actually... I'm doing it now.

I guess I could nandroid backup and give GB a go and load Froyo if it doesnt turn out well.

Just to clarify.... cwm 3.0 to flash GB. But if I want to restore my Froyo backup, can I still use cwm 3.0 to do so or would it be recommended to downgrade back to 2.5. (since I am not installing the rom fresh, restoring a backup- but then again I would be using 2.5 to create the backup).

Either should be ok ... as u said, just make sure u restore with the same version you backed up with.

The sense 3.0 stuff is very nice though mate ... I doubt you will want to come back!

I've just come back to Froyo and loving it. GB feels like a beta to be honest.

1.HTC mail app syncs constantly once gmail is setup using ActiveSync for push notifications, causing excessive battery drain.

2.Autobrightness does not work as well as Froyo even with same arrays.xml settings.

3.Battery drain is worse.

4. Don't like the app drawer.

5.Paypal app force closes after being open for a minute or so (doesn't happen on Froyo).

Might be more but the first 3 are deal breakers for me. Sense 3 stuff looks nice but I'm not prepared to sacrifice looks for functionality.

Just tweaking the Kalagas theme for Leedroid 2.2.3 to my liking & I should be set.
