Judging by the picture, which shows "g" it's probably because he's not on 3g. 3g is a battery hog compared to gprs. But it's too slow... Lol

Screen on time was 2:30 hours. Half of the time was on wifi and the other half on simple 2g. With 3g on all the time i wouldn't go even to half that battery life mate. 3g is the biggest battery drainer of all. Even bigger than the display imo

yeah i think HTC edge will be my next phone when my contract is up

I think that Desire HD is still a very good phone, but can be improved with software... And I think that Lee can help with it.

i agree and it runs ICS very very well

my contract wont be up for about another year there will be a better phone than the HTC Edge by then i imagine

100% mate, I am working on a small paid project for a firm ATM, the new build is the base with a few additional mods and a lot stripped out! Hope to have it cracked by Sunday, it will be an official DHD base though

Now quick question, turning 3g off significantly improves battery life but turning it on and off as needed is a faf
Is there an app that turns it off when only background process want to use it but back on when a big app wants it?

Try Juicedefender, works nicely, helps quite a bit, even with well performing roms (in regards to battery).

Flashing more aggressive autobrightness configurations also helps, you can most likely find these in the mod section, not sure if those are up for 4.0.0 yet (I think Kalagas and nmp have made some).

Dear LeeDroid,

Douse it apply to LeeDroid version 3.3.3 GB that I have installed on my DHD ?
Or How \ Where do I find my DHD Version if it's FRG83D or GRI40 ?

As far as I know this is a release for just the official roms. And I believe the ACE (or FRG83D) are the DHDs shipped with Froyo and Spade (or GRI40) are the ones shipped with GingerBread

I would say most custom roms aRe well ahead of their oem counterparts with patches and fixes

Yes, there are a couple of autobrightness mods in the thread. I know that nmp definitely has one which is pretty good.

wifi security flaw

As far as I know this is a release for just the official roms.

But does this mean that if we are using Lee's ROM we are immune to the wifi security flaws the OTA is meant to fix?
