When you open the magisk app it tells you to update the apk then it tells you to download the zip ,just flash it in twrp

Pls why is my network signal bar come up and cross sign within like 10second on the rom but other sim network i try work fine.i think its got to do with the one of 4g enable sim cause the network keep coming off and on but stale on non 4g sim

I have my SD card formatted as internal. Do I need to format it as portable, before flashing this ROM? Sorry if the question is absurd. I've been rooting phones for a few years, but I've never worked up the nerve to flash a custom ROM but I've always wanted to. This one seems like the best choice. Thanks!

No need to.
Just know that you would need to reformat your SD card as internal after the rom initialize, since the encryption keys are different.

I've got an American m9 Developer Edition, with Nougat 7.0, software number 4.30.617.12, and 3.10.84-ElementalX kernel. Is the LeeDroid ROM compatible to be flashed to this phone? I'm only asking because in the prerequisites the required firmware does not match any of my parameters. Sorry for the noob question. This will be my first time flashing a custom ROM, and I don't want anything to go wrong. Thanks!

Yes. It should work. As mentioned in OP, all carriers are supported.

I'm sure there's been updates since then, I'm just very apprehensive because this will be my first time flashing a new ROM and I don't want anything going wrong. Never mind...starting the AROMA Installer answered this question for me.

Yes, that should probably be updated. Translating to easier language, it should meant that Marshmallow (3.xx.xxx.xx) or Nougat (4.xx.xxx.xx) firmware is required.

Might be. Initial boot does takes a while. Wait for at least half an hour and an hour max before thinking that there is an issue.

Well, you should always search the answer first. If you don't find it, then it should always be okay to ask.

Eg: the first one could easily be searchable, and the answer is yes.

As for the second, I'm not quite sure myself, since I haven't used this rom extensively in the past.

This ROM is spectacular. I've had no issues with it, except that it broke my root explorer on ES File Manager Pro. Has anybody else experienced this and, if so, were you able to resolve it?

I'm not using it, but maybe the issue lies in your root solution. Not the rom itself.

I'm using Magisk like I have on all my devices. Is that what you mean? Or could I be doing something else that broke it?

Never mind again. It was stored on the SD card of my adopted storage. I moved it to internal, and it fixed it. I apologize for wasting your time, without thinking first. :silly:

I've got one final question, if anybody can answer it. On the first page of this thread I saw under the AROMA section, that the first mod mentioned is Clumsy Kernel. I didn't notice this while using AROMA. My question is, is the Clumsy Kernel installed along with the ROM by default, or is it the stock kernel? I did a search on the LeeDroid kernel's version, but came up with nothing. Thanks in advance for any answers!
