I would really like to use ur update 5 but the calls drop as soon as I try to make a call the signal goes?? Any idea.
Currently using one of techs ROMs

Well update 5 was a blow. I realized that I didn't leave a major component for cellular calling. However I can back with update 6 as the one to use. I would also let you know that tech has one of the fastest rom for our device. I'm thinking of branching it and using some of it to create v7 of my ROM.

Well you can delete the OP Partition as it won't harm anything on the device. It just allows for my custom boot image to be flashed. @tecknight says that the OP Partition holds vital information for the carrier but I never experienced any bugs without it.

is there a kernel that supports hotspot?

As you have experimented with the exact phone I wish to root and add a new ROM to, I would love to know if one of these kernels you supplied allowed the hotspot feature to work? (it is entirely possible that I am ignorant and incorrect in assuming that the kernel would make a difference.)

Currently testing CrossBreeder but I DO NOT RECCOMMEND it because its breaking root unless your rooted with SuperSU Binary. I'm fairly certain all these can be flashed with TWRP but I'm only posting as such on the stuff its documented to be OK to do with AND I've tested personally.

I wanted to add that I just recently injected Spectrum compatibility into Ferodroid Engine, and have customized the 4 Profiles successfully.

Please just install TWRP first, then Magisk Manager. I'm going to work on getting the Oreo ROM to run on the TWRP kernel. Then I'll work on patching PBRP for your device to.

I was not able to use hotspot after flashing any ROM to my LG aristo 2 but I was able to toggle it on and make it work with VPN hotspot app. Also PBRP will not install does anybody know why?

finally got this installed but keep getting ota notifications

I finally got this installed on my aristo 2 and it works great. however I keep getting the "android system update available" notification every 12 hours. I would like to stop this notification from appearing any idea how?

So i have the lg k8 + 2018 anf i did this atomic mod and when i plus my phone into a computer it comes up as a aristo 2
My power button also takes 2 presses to wake the screen.
Is this not ment for the k8 plus 2018 version

I ran into the same issue. Did you get it figured out?

Yes I figured it out, I had a bad version of TWRP, I flashed the one called "PitchBlack-cv1-2.9.0-20190123-0125-UNOFFICIAL.zip" and this rom as well as others flash without issue as well as backup/restore functions normally.

Holly ****, i have Lg K8 2018 (LM-X210ULMG) and i maked Unlocking Bootloader and Installing TWRP from https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76837384&postcount=2
and after unlocking Bootloader with files for K8+ (i was thinking its for my model) and recovery.img touchscreen doesn't work and now i can't make setup wizard.

Why in this Forum all models are in the same subforum ? This is crazy. Lg K8 is Lg K8, Aristo is Aristo or K8+ is another K8...

What i can make to rescue my Lg K8 2018 ? I think i need recovery.img and some like RB_M171_EVD_K8.img for K8 model LM-X210ULMG.
Where can i find these files ? Please help me.
