damn i need help using adb to push the img and recovery file.. im stuck after typing in #adb shell i get the $ sign and its down hill from there cant for the life of me mount or anything.. im stuck as a duck in oil.??? someone help a guy out?

You need root permission in the Shell. Type su as first command and confirm root permission on phone.

Every App is installed to SD automatically with this ROM. Don't use the Froyo mechanism with the ROM since it is not necessary.

No, the program you used uses the Froyo Apps2SD method. You have just moved your apps from ext3 partition to fat partition on sd card and that makes no sense.

Every app is installed on the ext3 partition with this rom. But you do not "see" that the are installed on the ext3 partition. It is thread by android like the internal memory.
Get root explorer an go to /data/app . There you should see that there the ext3 memory is used.

You do not see ext3, but you can see the used and free space on the top line. And if you have created an 512Mbyte ext3-partition there should be a lot of space free under /data/app

Ok, ran into my first problem...

It might be that I am in the US, and not EU/UK... but I cannot connect to any data networks with this rom. Only WiFi works.

We have an Optimus T here with stock still, and the data works just fine.

I noticed that the Recovery install post warned about bricking when you update radio.img... So I come to the all mighty xda forum gods humbly asking for assistance before I flash back to a stock rom.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

you probably have to change the apn settings eigokyoukan for it to connect to data.. i dont think thats enough to go threw the trouble to flash back to the stock rom... plus i am from the us your gonna give me a reason not to flash to this rom if there is more problems like this.

Thanks MikeD! APN was it. Here I just figured it would automatically do that with the SIM, silly me.

For those interested, for T-Mobile in the USA, here is the APN info:

Name: T-Mobile GPRS

APN: epc.tmobile.com

MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc

MMC: 310

MNC: 260

Leave everything else undefined/not set.
