concur with goody actually i was just thinking about this as i finally up'd the custom rom.

i remember the devs making killer changes to the custom android rom for the htc hd2 .. it was blue and cool as hell looking that circle clock etc etc..

someone experienced should play with this. its great to test the limits of the optimus hopefully we can work up as a team to the status's of other devices.

I installed your rom, but i found that there is not chinese language, it is a pity!
Please try to use "More Locale 2" from Market and you should be able to select chinese.

yea if its an out of the country firmware.. the sim will not auto detect the apn. btw i pmed you help please.
Hmm, will try to include a more complete APN list in future versions.

As follows go to settings > wireless & networks > mobile networks

access point names > then hit new apn do as follows.

It sets the apn for t-mobile data.

thanks miked! Apn was it. Here i just figured it would automatically do that with the sim, silly me.

For those interested, for t-mobile in the usa, here is the apn info:

Name: T-mobile gprs

apn: Epc.tmobile.com

mmsc: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc

mmc: 310

mnc: 260

leave everything else undefined/not set.

Thanks again!

I begin to have some problems with this rom ... is interrupted services / processes many times, and leave all strange icons in the menu and the only solution is to reboot ... Today he did it twice ... you okay? no problem?

i have some questions:

1) can we use the app2sd without installing the rom?? Is it possible to make the app2sd working to the stock lg rom??

2)also if i manage to install app2sd like in this rom, will i have issues with unmounting the sd card? and if i got an issue( in boot for example) can i go back to my stock rom?

3)the partition to sd card must be only 512 mb or we can set it higher and how much??

sorry for those questions i'm new in forum ;) thanks!

Hey suger, I'll try to help with the questions I can.

1) You should be able to use dsixda's Android Kitchen to include it in your stock rom if you cook it up yourself. You will have to install the custom recovery though.

2) If you unmount the SDcard, just the apps installed to it will stop working. Core functions are in the phone's memory, so you are good there.

3) I don't see a reason why more than 512MB wouldn't work, just less space to work with for storage of media and whatnot on your SDcard.

Don't worry about the questions. For those first time custom ROM users, it is a brave new world :)

I will be trying out the update here soon after it downloads, I'll let everybody know how it goes!

Just flashed 1.1 over 1.0 and all went smooth. Great update. The new version of ADW is much smoother.

HW Accel. baked in is nice. I already had this installed, but with the heap increase I am now getting 100+ more points on Quadrant (up to 1076 now, yay).

Also, don't know if it has to do with the Cyanogen APN list, but my reception seems to be a bit better over all as well.

ES File Manager was a nice addition as well.

Great stuff over all. Thanks again

I am now using AH1.0.
Is there any data lost when I update to AH1.1?
Thanks.

P/S: Can't wait for reply :D I have update and no data/app lost. This is great. Thanks.

1. I think it would be possible though it would be a hard job. If you want this apps2sd with your stock ROM you should do a nandroid backup and use this as a base for a custom ROM in dsixda Kitchen and there you can add app2sd. Search forum for more details on the kitchen. It's really easy to create a custom ROM with it.

2. In custom Recovery make a nandroid backup (select backup/restore and then select "backup" or "backup + .android_secure" if you have used Froyo apps2sd). This will create a backup of your ROM on the sd card. After flashing another ROM you can always go back if you restore this backup.

3. I haven't tried other sizes but should work. But I think 512MB is really a good size.
