Okay now I see my issue.
Once connected the settings display is:

"Unmount shared storage"
"Unmount the internal USB storage"

Which confused me just a little as OTG isn't internal - but it works so all ok!

Thanks bud - I'll get there eventually - but love all the options - really nice.

Update: ART works great with PA GApps.
This ROM is smooth and fast. Lots of options.
Highly recommend for all 2012 Nexus 7's.

When you switch from dalvik run time to ART, it'll take a longer time than you might expect to reboot so be patient.

Thanks for a Kitkat update.

Has some feedback.
1. In Immersive mode, it's necessary to include the menu option in Navigation bar. Without it, I need to toggle off Immersive mode, which disrupts the use.

2. The status bar needs looking into. Experienced the same behavior as highlighted by someone earlier. But after ignoring it and going ahead to setup my device, it sort of rectified itself.

3. Now can I turn off the blue thing? It seems to be combination of Navigation buttons and recent bars. Don't mind the feature but not the blue indicator.

4. In addition to the auto rotate issue, seems like the gyro is broken too. When I used Gravity Screen app, screen doesn't turn off when device is facing down.

I still can't get ART to work, even with PA Gapps.

Friends I can´t install this ROM 4.4.2 and tried a clean install, upgrade to version 2.6 TWRP, bootloader unlocked, and rooted the device, but when trying to install aborts the installation.

Download and install again.
You should try lastest twrp. I installed without any problem.

check file md5 for known the error...
update the latest TWRP and try again installation

Which one did you flash?

I'm having the exact same issue with the notification glitch.

I've tried many GApps zips, but all of them are glitched.

1-Advance Wipe
2-Flashed XenonHD-03-24-14-signed-tilapia
3-Flashed many variants of GApps

Still notification glitch.

So um... I had heaps of trouble trying to get GApps on it but eventually got it on.. had to find the pa_gapps and after that was installed.. do a 2nd factory wipe before it would come alive again (without crashing)... now running TuneIn.. it stutter alot too.. so I'm guessing something is taking up CPU or its not managing the CPU quite correctly.

In the midst of the finals week new build has been uploaded to the new server. Fixed a few bugs from previous build like APN editor, etc. Added stuff here and there. This is build is more like of what to come in build 7 hence RC!

Updated to build 7! Added new cm theme chooser, ability to move recents clear all button, change recents color, removed pie, added headset options, etc! Fixed a lot of bugs as well.
