I think that in both, Cyanogenmod 12.1.1 and 13, the dirty cow is cleaned up, regarding this post from BlueFlame4 at the 12.1.1 thread:

ah, it feels like the development for our phone has fully stopped. No kernel updates, elephone doesnt release sh*t, cm13 is hard to build cuz of the camera and fs implementation.
@BlueFlame4 u said that something big is coming from elephone, it has been a month(or so), do you have any more info regarding that matter?

I never said it's coming from Elephone. They clearly abandoned the P8000 now. I was referring to the CM 13 release by that time, sorry to disappoint :/

How is your development going? I saw you posted something into the cm for MTK thread :)

    LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    Unofficial build of LineageOS 13 (Android 6.0.1) for the P8000​

    This rom is for K05TS the first P8000 modell

    Rom is not tested on K05TE or K06TE !!

    Maybe it works on K05TE well if you downgrade to Stock Android 5.1 first.
    K05TE use a different fingerprint sensor

    K06TE will nor work well because different mainboard and fingerprint sensor

    A version for K06TE and K05TE is under development !!

    Not working yet:
    • FM Radio
    • Fingerprint sensor
    • Selinux enforced

    BUGs:
    • sometimes notification led not working
    • no LTE after enable/disable flight mode (works well if you use only 1 sim)
    • sometimes d2tw problems during call
    • wifi disconnect problem with some AVM Fritzbox router during standby --> fix use this wifi firmware (/system/etc/firmware)
    • snapchat video record problems

    If you get a notification saying updates are available it's sufficient to install the latest version.

    Some updates.

    I am working on Android 7.1.1 for p8000.

    It use 3.18 kernel.

    I am running a test build on my k05ts device.

    Will take some time to get Android 7.1.1 fully working for k05ts, k05te and k06te.

    K06te can use custom kernel. k05ts and k05te have to use stock kernel. (no 3.18 kernel source)

    Not working: Fingerprint.

    working:

    wifi, gsm, call, bluetooth, audio, fm radio, ....


    If found some more time i will update lineageOS 13.1 too.
