To be honest, I'd rather have a lineage MM port done by Djeman with slight bugs than a TW MM done by Samsung that's flawless, at least with Djeman's ROM you know there's support (from him and the community) and someone working on it that actually cares about it instead of a Samsung employee just trying to make money out of it.

Without joke, Samsung in question about major updates is so slow, on eg. SS needs 18 months from official Android 7 announcement to send it to theirs devices! too long....
Maybe it's fake news about MM TW UPDATE for J3, I personally think that @djeman and other RD make Android 7(LineageOS 14.1) for J3 6 but Samsung send us MM update...
But must send min 1 major update, but users never decide...
Im glad we have developers like @djeman and yourself as well as others doing proper work thanks guys

Lineage OS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6 (MM), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
/*
* Your warranty is... still valid?
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/

Introduction
Lineage OS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). Lineage OS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for Lineage OS is available in the Lineage OS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to Lineage OS, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

Installation instructions

  1. Download ROM and Optional: GApps.
  2. Copy ROM and Optional: GApps to internal storage.
  3. Optional: Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional but highly recommended).
  4. Wipe /data, /system and /cache.
  5. Flash ROM and Optional: GApps.
Note: First boot can take some time. They may even loop a few times...

What device are you flashing it onto?
My first suggestion would be to get a copy of your original firmware from sammobile (if you didn't back up), check you're on the right twrp version, flash stock again through Odin then twrp, wipe as described through twrp, then retry the ROM (assuming you're flashing to the J320FN of course).

That's the same firmware I've used in the past and it worked fine *edit* (fine for me at least) */edit*. The only other thing I can think of would be to go through the pages and try each individual build

I prefer lineage myself, it seems to have less bugs (the only one left for most people is the flashing which can be lived with) but ROM choice is very much a personal thing, I've always preferred Cyanogen/lineage to other ROMs.
bro do you know how to remove all gapps with flashable script in stock rooted lollipop? I want to install only pico variant of gapps

If you want I build the twrp recovery at each time I build the rom, it's integrated.

Maybe it's ok for the hwcomposer, on my latest test the bug is fixed or I have many luck :p
I will launch a full build to share it and to make a final test.
I just added 2 options in the boardconfig TARGET_REQUIRES_SYNCHRONOUS_SETSURFACE and BOARD_EGL_NEEDS_HANDLE_VALUE.
Ah too liboemcrypto I changed the makefile to build a shared library because the widevine lib need it.

And I have a question :)
You think it's better to set 2 framebuffers or 3 framebuffers (NUM_FRAMEBUFFER_SURFACE_BUFFERS option) ? The stock rom is set to 2.
