I used to disable HW Composition and enabled use GPU for 2D in Developer Options. (Something along those lines, they're in the same section).I used this build for some time now, but i can't stand the flickering, especially on the twitch app.
I'll be glad to try it again when it's fixed.
Forgot to mention I moved over to OctOS too. Way more stable, smoother and just generally better. (Seems more polished for some reason???)I used to disable HW Composition and enabled use GPU for 2D in Developer Options. (Something along those lines, they're in the same section).
You have to do this after every reboot though. I do remember there being a Xposed Module which reticks the HW Composition button for you after you've booted.
Give it a try, it 100% worked for me. (J320FN) It also made stuff smoother for me too!
Same in Chrome and Twitter applications.I used this build for some time now, but i can't stand the flickering, especially on the twitch app.

Does any one has this kind of noise in while playing music through headphones?Same in Chrome and Twitter applications.
For me, it looks like it happens more often on the November version.
Unfortunately I can't switch to OctOS because I'm using the J320M, but I will try disabling HW Composition and enable use GPU for 2D. Thanks.I used to disable HW Composition and enabled use GPU for 2D in Developer Options. (Something along those lines, they're in the same section).

I never had flickering on that OS from what I can remember.

I agree, but I am using leneage OS 13.0 now and it is very stable if you don't mind downgrading to android 6Viper os is the solution
Viper OS is showing me the year 1970 and in the notifications "49y". Something is wrong and I can't even fix that. Now what's the solution for that?Viper os is the solution
did you wipe data?Viper OS is showing me the year 1970 and in the notifications "49y". Something is wrong and I can't even fix that. Now what's the solution for that?
Flash the latest "pico" ARM 7.1.2 package from OpenGAPPS.When I booted into OctOS whenever I try to log in to my google account screen goes black. What should I do?
I've tried clearing data and cache, also restarting the phone, but nothing worked.
Okay I will try.Flash the latest "pico" ARM 7.1.2 package from OpenGAPPS.
If this doesn't work, try BanksGAPPS.
Just to check, are you booting after installing android and then installing GAPPS?
If so, you have to flash both at the same time before booting.
Try to configure it without wi-fi and google account.
Already tried it, but still doesn't worksTry to configure it without wi-fi and google account.
Try to configure without gapps??Already tried it, but still doesn't works
