I used this build for some time now, but i can't stand the flickering, especially on the twitch app.
I'll be glad to try it again when it's fixed.
I used to disable HW Composition and enabled use GPU for 2D in Developer Options. (Something along those lines, they're in the same section).

You have to do this after every reboot though. I do remember there being a Xposed Module which reticks the HW Composition button for you after you've booted.

Give it a try, it 100% worked for me. (J320FN) It also made stuff smoother for me too!

Forgot to mention I moved over to OctOS too. Way more stable, smoother and just generally better. (Seems more polished for some reason???)

I never had flickering on that OS from what I can remember.

Unfortunately I can't switch to OctOS because I'm using the J320M, but I will try disabling HW Composition and enable use GPU for 2D. Thanks.

When I booted into OctOS whenever I try to log in to my google account screen goes black. What should I do?
I've tried clearing data and cache, also restarting the phone, but nothing worked.

Flash the latest "pico" ARM 7.1.2 package from OpenGAPPS.

If this doesn't work, try BanksGAPPS.

Just to check, are you booting after installing android and then installing GAPPS?

If so, you have to flash both at the same time before booting.

Okay I will try.
I also found out that this only happens when I have set timezone to +4:00
