Hey folks. I was wondering if someday we would have Oreo on this device. The SC9830i is a quite capable chipset, so I guess it would be able to handle Oreo without any major hiccups.

Has anyone tried to compile LineageOS 15.1 for the J3?
Yup. Me. But build is ended on bootloop [emoji14]

Sounds daft but have you tried the Google Calendar app? - EDIT: Just seen screenshot of QS/Notifications, now are it's system wide...

And I won't be able to do nothing with the logcat so your best bet would be to private msg the devs for this device. (I just asked for you to provide it for them :) )

You're using the AOSP one with the ROM aren't you?

Try flashing and using OctOS, I have used that 3 months solid before with minor issues. (Just slight flickering from time to time).

I've looked back on these previous comments and it looks like an update to LOS's sources which has fked it up...

Try install a December - March build between 2017/8. (If you can't find one, if not let me know I may have one lying around on my PC as I previously owned this device. (I say this because I had OctOS running amazingly within this time.)

Forgot to mention that the security patch will be out of date but just don't install anything from dodgy sites and when you sideload, make sure it has an icon and the correct package name if you're unsure lmao.

I'm yet to see a virus affect Android if I'm honest...

If you have NFC I wouldn't recommend GPay if you do and can use it.

It would be great if you could send me old builds. I had problem with octOS. It wasn't letting me log in to my google account, the screen was going black so i tried with every gapps and pico worked, but than system was crashing, it wasn't letting me in apps. Also it would be great if you had old versions of other ROMs too. Oh and i don't use NFC so it won't be a problem.

I'll have a look in my backup drive, should have one somewhere.

Also, are you flashing GSAPPS at the same time as the rom?

You're not supposed to flash the rom, boot, then flash GAPPS otherwise the issues you mention above happen.

Ok I'll wait till you find something.

Oh I didn't know I had to flash it that way. (Do you mean GAPPS and not the GSAPPS)
