any chance to get a newer build with latest security patches?
flashed this rom to the phone of a friend and it is working well since some weeks. ?
good work. looking forward to a update.
I noticed that! Very strange, did you mean the stock touchwiz ROM when you say "official"?everytime 2 connections are made to the hotspot it changes to open network from wpa2 and stays open. its same with lineage 13 and official rom. is it my phone or a feature/ bug
?

yes stock and lineage 13 14 and Resurrection Remix Nougat v5.8.5.I noticed that! Very strange, did you mean the stock touchwiz ROM when you say "official"?
RR is built on Lineage anyway so it's expected but on the stock ROM that's awful. ? Great hardware though, even if the GPU is super old it does a good job at everything. Pretty sure it was a restart job for me at the time I was using hotspot.yes stock and lineage 13 14 and Resurrection Remix Nougat v5.8.5.
something in baseband maybe, my operator knows im hotspoting with it but didnt know when i used my razr m on lineage 13
Also forgot to mention I'm not digging at Devs for not sorting it, you've done a great job was using Lineage 14.1 as a daily for at least 2-3 months. It was pretty stable a few weeks after it was bootable.RR is built on Lineage anyway so it's expected but on the stock ROM that's awful. ? I hadn't checked the wifi tethering before i flashed to lineage but it was dropping the wpa when I restored back to the stock backup in twrp, could i have a changed kernel here?RR is built on Lineage anyway so it's expected but on the stock ROM that's awful. ? No, if the Lineage kernel stuck when you flashed or restored stock Touchwiz your phone wouldn't boot.I hadn't checked the wifi tethering before i flashed to lineage but it was dropping the wpa when I restored back to the stock backup in twrp, could i have a changed kernel here?
You dont need to update you need to wipe all "system data and cache "Flash rom and then flash gappsHey ! Thanks for all the work, I've recently updated from LOS 13 from this (after disabling OEM Unlock by accident and rebooting my phone)
I've really had no issue but one, it's been a great rom to use.
The only issue I have is with GPS, with Waze and Google Maps. I drive a lot, and everytime it takes maybe 10-15mn and a few reboots of Waze to get it to find my GPS signal. And sometimes, it gets it but after some time it just loses it.
I've been wondering if there's a fix ! I've searched this thread but didn't find anything.
If that helps, I live in Europe.
What new phone did you get?Message to all devs of j3 roms:
Today, I got a new phone for my birthday, so I won't use my j3 much. I may mess about and install some roms every now and then but not much.
I would like to say a huge thanks for making the time I spent with the j3 so much more amazing!
Once again, thanks and bye
Erik.
