[ROM] LineageOS 14.1 for Samsung Galaxy J3 (2016) [SM-J320FN/F/G/M] [UNOFFICIAL]

First I have installed twrp 3.1.2 then,
I wiped dalvik,cache,system
Then I installed the file
Logcat was full of listed only successfull
No failed error occurred, then after installing ROM, I installed gapps arm 7.1.2, it alse installed with 0% failed.
After rebooting, beginning page occurred were we have to put WiFi passwords to connect internet and log in google.
Then after another window opened in beginning only, that stated" insert sim card, this would take sometime to , and it will located in the upper back side of device and insert sim in sim tray"
I waited for a while, it still didn't detected.
Then I skipped the step and moved forward.
Then I completed the setup page, after that no sim status and imei status also!
I thought sim were expired were I checked the sim with another device it were detected.

I thought I we're wrong while installation, so I followed the same above steps to install the ROM but still not working.
When I checked for imei status, its not working.

Let me get out

Does your device have an IMEI in settings? Did you backup the EFS partition?

No.. I didn't backup any thing

Installation instructions

Download ROM and Optional:GApps.
Copy ROM and Optional:GApps to internal storage.
Optional: Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional but highly recommended).
Wipe /data, /system and /cache.
Flash ROM and Optional:GApps.

No.. I didn't backup any thing

On samsung always backup efs, or your imei can be destroyed. AFAIK there is no recovery possible. You can try to restore stock rom with odin, but chances are you will have no imei there either... Your phone will probably be a mini-tablet from now on.

I Dont need imei.. Wht if the mobile sim will be detected??
Or not
I need only sim slot right now.. Because I Dont have any alternative mobile phone!!!!

Hi ,
I've installed LineAgeOS correctly on my SM-J320F (and not SM-J320FN )
All is working perfectly , but , it still ONE problem , the bluetooth isn't working correctly , I can see my bluetooth devices , I can connect them to my phone , I can play music , but it's hatched , until I lock my screen .
When my screen is locked , all work perfectly , but when I unlock it , it's hatching again !

I have been testing my first ever Samsung J3 2016 rom all day after installing this one yesterday.
I can confirm that my blutooth is also not working correctly (j320fn)

The blutooth can see my heart rate chest strap but my fitness program (Endomondo) will connect to it then instantly drop the connection, sometimes it will stay connected to give a heart rate reading of 0 bpm before disconnecting (while i wear it and i am not dead )

I tested the blutooth connection with my car and the connection keeps dropping when trying to make calls, i managed to make a small call once and the audio was really bad.

I also have a fitness heart rate watch that has shown some issues in testing.
Apart from an increased battery drain over the course of the day i have not noticed any other bugs in my personal use.

I actually have 2 x Samsung J32016 (J320FN) phones and my work supplied mobile is the same device (stock rom) all blutooth features work on my stock rom.

I have reinstalled with no change, I also tried the darkness ROM that i believe is based on lineage and that is the same.

When you say Bluetooth works for you, how are you testing it?

Installed that, testing it today side by side with my stock phone while at work, it paired up to my work vans phone kit and I could make a call with no drop out, will retry my Bluetooth heart rate chest strap when I get home.

One thing I have noticed is the battery life estimation carts huge between this ROM and stock lollipop.

I removed both phones from charge at the same time, this phone said I had around 7 hours left while the stock ROM phone said 24 hours ?

Update has made no difference, the blutooth is still sketchy, my heart rate chest strap will not connect to the phone when this rom is installed.
Both pphones right now while i wear the heart rate belt.

So i got nowhere with this, tried flashing the stock rom back onto my personal phone, all bluetooth operations are now working perfectly the same as my stock work phone.

This is stable rom but no the final rom you must be patient and all bugs will be resolte The dev are working
