DO NOT use android encryption on this OS. It wipes all your data (it behaves as a factory reset). Then after initial OS configuration I can't turn off the encryption (when I tap on disable encryption button nothing happens, the same thing with reset to factory defaults)... Additionally SIM card isn't recognised.
Now how to get rid of enctyption totally?

Ok i tried Lineage os all works fine but.. (screen winks on some apps, whatsup video call not work, and default browser crashing [maybe just for me]).

Remix os (screen doesn't wink, whatsup also work [on octobar build], and browser works fine 2)..

Battery draining - i think that this is not because of rom, but nougat itself, but what i know...

Djeman gone and some others 2.

So, my question is, would this rom be updated or not? Would same bugs remain forever?

Does someone working on this?

Probably not. So many ROMs (LOS, OctaOS, DotOS, and otherOSes), and all of them have some bugs. I never understand this, why creating 5 or more forks if the main is not completed.

Yes, all devs should work on same build untill all bugs are fixed. Then on that platform should build next rom. If main is not completed, why bother creating more different roms based on same incomplete release?

Are they using their roms?
Then they must encounter bugs?

I wanted marshmallow or nougat fully functional, with ota updates, to be sure that rom is maintained. Or rom should be finished product... This is not.

I dont care if it is Lineage, Remix, OctaOs, DotOs.. They are all same. I can change look and feel , but i cant fix the base..

They are experts on this..

So i please developers, to sit together and find solution for these small bugs.. I know that this require time and work, but this is much appreciated if they do..

Thanks.

Lineage, Remix, OctaOs, DotOs aren't same dude ..only thing same is that lineage is use to make these roms ...developers make different roms cuz every uses has it own taste. ..i personally like remix os and dost Os ..it doesn't mean that i will force them to fix my choice first ...everything takes time✌

Yeah, we know that it takes time and knowledge to build an OS. But it's going the same way as Linux distros or some OpenOffice/LibreOffice forks (bunch of forks, none of them are enterprise usable).
And that's we're talking about - if LOS is the "base" for other OSes, so why not to fix most of bugs (because, you'll never fix all of them), and then make remixes.

Yes, but im saying if Lineage is base, then first you must fix bugs there, and then be focused on making new roms. Nothing else..

These roms are all same for me, because they use same base. Only look and feel is different, settings and apps. I can also make rom looking how i want. I can replace system apps, edit settings, add diferent launcher, wallpapers, boot animation etc... Thats require time, but i can..

Only real differences between these roms are some extra settings and tweaks.. I really apreciated what they doing, but they should focuse on bugs first..

Yea, linux doing the same. Same base, and so much distros (better saying interfaces). Everyone can make their own OS out of that, and nothing else is different really , they only doing tweaks, changing settings, menus, adding launchers, wallpapers.. Then people cant decide which distro to use, you should choose betwen 1000 different (but same) distros. Android is also linux distro (but best).

I dont saying that there is no real development but most works on same base, only interface is different..

If developers would sit together, and make one linux version, that can work on old and new devices without problems, i would use that.

Such version should have all functions like windows.
Problem is because linux is so much different than windows. Peoples not familiar.

I never managed linux to work like i want. If i must spend so much time only to make it possible (for ubuntu) to add icons on desktop then its not worth my time... Plus, when i pick some distro, i cant be sure that developments will continue (same as android roms). These distros can be abandoned in any time, and then you must search for different distro, or live with non functional system... Thats the main reason why people dont use linux.

Good work, camera (video mode) works (unlike RR Remix :( ) Good ROM !
Only a few things are missing.
Can't change the wallpaper and the lock screen separately to not have the same image (or so I did not find how ...)
The panorama mode is laggy
(Indeed he has some flickering, to remove them, unfold the notification bar and they leave)
Ps: If you do not want to have useless Google applications, take OpenGapps Nano, it's more than enough!

Guys.. I have bad news.. sadly, I'm leaving the SpreadTrum platform and migrating to Qualcomm. It was a good run but it won't continue. Good luck with the development of j3!
