Me too it works but it's useless on a userdebug build signed with a test key and my data partition is f2fs and not ext4.
Maybe it works but it sucks ^^

I have repartition my sd card using adb command, mixed adobtable.
After finished, sd card is not usable anymore. I have use many tools, many ways but always failed to reformat the sd card.

To format you must unmount sd card in settings then try to format

Yes f2fs can be used only on data and cache, works fine.

For the sdcard format it with android in the storage menu, you can set adoptable and also back to normal in this menu.
Windows do not like linux partitions.

Format sd card using digital camera failed.
Windows (write protect error / but phisicaly is not protected) failed
DiskPart Windows Powershell, Easus Partition Master, Partition Recovery, SD Card Format Tools
All failed, this happend after using aftiss (adb command) to make mixed adobtable with new October LOS firmware.
Previouly there is no problem with the sd card, i have use aftiss many times and everything is fine.
My sd card become demage.

Maybe import contacts from the sim but my sim is empty ^^
To export, the vendor ril driver not have requests added in the ril version 12 for batch operations (GET_ADN_RECORD and UPDATE_ADN_RECORD) :

Wipe system, cache and dalvik-cache before to install all (rom, gapps, root, ...).

You can try the Panasonic SDformat utility or there is the HP usb-flash-drive-storage repair tool.
