Hey Folks,
I know it's been a while since I've posted anything. I finally had a bit of a break yesterday, and decided to spin up a virtual machine and run a new LOS 14.1 build. I have posted it on my AndroidFileHost for T310 only (4/28 build date). It has root built in, but you will need to install busybox if your apps need it. I have included the mountspace additions to the kernel that @tigger2014 added.

I am now 2 weeks from finishing my degree, so I may have a little more free time to play around, but not sure if I will do as much as before.

Does it mean that you will take a look to have the call-function (receive and send) to work for the SM T315? That is more the less the only function what is missing in LineAgeOs 14.1 :)

Honestly, if I couldn’t fix it when I worked on it daily, I likely won’t ever get it fixed. Not having that device makes it practically impossible ( for me).

Ah, I see. :D

For now I am using on this moment AICP 11 (on which the calling could be working, i did not found posts on Google and XDA about issues (yet)) instead of LineageOS 14.1 and the old original stock rom (on which there is nowadays less and less support for some important apps for me on android 4.4.2)

Cheers Geeviz.

Hi,

Just Installed this ROM.

It is nice to see an old machine (coming from Android 4.4.2), running on Android 7.1.1.+ GAAPS.
Nο issues encountered so far.

And thank you for that!

I think though that it is a bit laggy ROM,
isn't it?
Is there anything I can do to make it a bit snappier?

SM-T310 version

Thanks

I've same problem with SM-T311.

Also I've installed weather provider (yahoo, weather underground and another one) but no one show weather and also in lock screen i can see weather conditions. Some solution / suggestions?

I have installed the kernel.
Initially WiFi was dead
But found a solution to work around:

Solution:
Flash ROM+ GAAPS THEN
REBOOT.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE + USA SETTINGS TO WIFI.

THEN RECOVERY--FLASH KERNEL AND......REBOOT

AND WORKS FANTASTIC!!!!!!

THANKS man for reviving this pretty old machine!

After using the Most recent ROM+ Kernel the results are very good.

Very fast for this old machine......

The only issue is....the random turning off and then turning on of the WiFi.....
Even if the option
"WiFi always on while sleep" is active....
Any suggestions???

In any case fantastic results for such an obsolete hardware....
