I had a similar issue in the past.
I pretty much solved it by reinstalling the best (but not necessarily the latest) ROM. Have a look at the previous pages, it has been discussed. :)

Can you send the file of the exact version of the rom which you say has a good performance please? I have been testing several versions and I still have the poor performance :(

The build by @tigger2014 (which I specifically want, in order to pass safetynet) is still at the Lineage loading logo almost 30 mins after I clean flashed it without gapps to my T311 with twrp.

Did I do something wrong? Is there something special I need to do?
Please advise, anyone

You may need to flash gapps. I believe I remember the installation instructions specifying that.

Hey @will4958 thanks for your reply!
So actually the first time I tried to flash it, I in fact did it with GAPPS (Arm, 7.1, Pico, fresh download). The reboot installation of that went crazy: the lineage logo went extremely slow and froze up for minutes at a time, then moved around a little bit, then froze again. After a few minutes, it would restart the device itself, and then the same thing with the Linage logo again...and so on like that, in a loop. I waited maybe 20 minutes but there was no actual signs of progress, just constant freezing and looping and restarting. I mean I'm no expert but I've never seen a flash of a rom do anything like that before, didn't seem normal.
So that's when I tried to flash it without Gapps (which I thought might have been causing issue). But it didn't work, not as bad as the first attempt, butrit was just constantly running through the Lineage loading logo with no progress. I ended it after about 25 minutes.

It's strange, I mean the versions of Lineage 14.1 from @gr8nole and @cuberio1 worked fine for me, only the one from @tigger2014 did not.

Do you know if those instructions you mentioned are still around somewhere?
I wonder if I was supposed to use an older version of twrp (I was using the newest for this device) or an older version of gapps (I always make a fresh download from the site)
What do you think?

The instructions are on the first post where the download links are located. As for the boot looping, I did experience my own loop issue, but it was on a different ROM, and for some reason it only started after installing a version of Netflix that was supposed to be compatible with the Marshmallow ROM that was on there at the time. There was also the fact the darn thing didn't want to play nice with virtually every file manager I tried to use with it, either. It would close the app at a certain point, which prompted me to try this ROM. By the way, not totally sure yet, but I think the Brave browser may have some issue with this thing as it was slowing the tab down a bit, but I haven't tried other browsers yet to make sure. I installed Firefox as a test, but haven't done anything with it yet.

I’m pretty sure that @tigger2014’s builds are now obsolete, which leaves you with either @gr8nole’s and @cuberio1’s builds. Even then, I believe that @gr8nole’s are the most up-to-date and stable (I might be wrong).
Hmm well that depends on what you mean by obsolete in this context (??).
I mean neither the device or has the rom file itself has changed, so why should it be "obsolete" per se?
I don't see any reason why it shouldn't physically work and that's all I'm looking for.
(Whether one considers it obsolete or not is another matter I'd say).

Besides, it's still listed on the 1st page of this rom thread with the other builds, and it's not marked as discontinued or anything like that.
That's why I'm not really sure what you mean.
I know there are the other two builds, and I've tried them, but I wanted to try the tigger2014 one specifically as apparently it's the only one which passes SafetyNet

Ah yes of course! The first page instructions I mean...I just thought you meant somewhere else entirely and hadn't thought of there.
Interesting about your bootloop issue, I'm sorry I can't help or speak much to that other than to say that I've loads of problems getting Netflix to work on my old Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with Lineage os.
Thanks for the heads-up re Brave browser. I'll try a few.

going back to the instruction for this rom, I'll reply to your original comment now because it only makes sense in direct reply to that

You may need to flash gapps. I believe I remember the installation instructions specifying that.
I think you might be referring to this line:
"HEADS UP: Be sure you flash the gapps package when flashing your rom. If you boot your rom, then try to flash gapps later, you will have issues." ??

If that's what you meant, well then I'm pretty sure this instruction was talking about all 3 builds of this rom in general and only in the case of someone wanting to have GAPPS. I don't think it means that you have to flash gapps just to get the rom to work even if you didn't want GAPPs in the first place.
Anyway, as fas as I'm aware, this is the general advice for wanting to use gapps with all custom roms.

Hello.

I've just installed this os for use it with tablet stylus (xp pen g640s). And when I plug in this tablet cursor pointer disapears... I can use menus and buttons. But pointer becomes invisible.
When I enable it in "input" settings - nothing happens. I go up the menu. Return. And see - it's disabled again!
Could someone help me to solve this issue?

The tablet is charging very slowly. Using many different chargers and cables and I've cleaned the port... Getting only 300-500 mah... Not enough to run the device all the time...

Solution? Maybe a kernel issue?
