Is anyone else having problems with Netflix on this ROM? It refuses to open, I've downgraded to and old version which works but I want the new version. I've tried several apks from apkmirror but none work. Does anyone know why it's not working and how to fix it? And btw, yes, magisk hide is on, it hasn't made any difference.

I do not have that problem at the moment. It works for me as always.

I installed the ROM and it works very well! Love it so far.
I installed the pico package of oppengapps, but want to remove them now to use Microg. Is it possible to remove the gapps?

What I would do is (I had to do this just recently so it's annoying but you gotta do it) flash the stock oreo rom. It contains the firmware and stuff. Update to the latest oreo update you can get with the basic rom. After you are finished, all you have to do is wipe your phone and flash whatever rom you want. It should work, but if you still have issues flash it a second or even third time. Litterally took me 3 times before the fingerprint started to work for pie roms again. After I was finished, I was able to flash any rom and with no issues. Hope this helps, any other questions, I am willing to help (especially since I have already had to go through with this issue myself)

Unfortunately netflix does not work on custom rom, or at least it never worked for me

It because Moto never certified our device for a 64bit OS. So it shows up as ”CTS profile:false” Magisk plus the Magisk Prop Hide & osmosis busybox modules will fix that.

Choose Google Pixel 2 for our 64bit Oreo ROMs.

And then it works fine.

9.0 Roms

Hi, so I'm relatively new to the custom ROM scene, I have previously installed Nitrogen OS on my potter xt1687 or whatever it's called, and I wanted to update to this ROM. I saw with most Pie ROMs you have to install Oreo firmware before, but I'm not exactly sure what to do. I would really enjoy a semi step-by-step guide on what to do, I know that I have to install the ROM after I install the Oreo firmware, but I'm not sure exactly what to do. Currently, here is what I think I have to do:

1. Install Oreo firmware, while keeping EFS and Persist backups
2. Wipe sytem data and cache/dalvik
3. Install LOS ROM
4. Flash GApps
5. Profit

Please tell me what I got wrong with this.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

    Heya people!

Just a heads up, that we are moving to Stock Oreo's firmware, so it's better that you update to it for the upcoming Pie Roms.

Nick (GtrCraft) has already released a new GZOSP Pie build with the change (and i hope upcoming roms too) and has also made a specific zip for those who wanna update FP Firmware without going full stock.

Update to Oreo Firmware's FP firmware
    Size: 582KB
    From: OPS28.85-17
    https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262904029635

    Downgrade to Nougat's FP firmware
    Size: 467.8KB
    From: NP25.137-33
    https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=1322778262904029634

Big thanks to Nick (GtrCraft) for the zips!

Ah 700 posts and you are asking that question.
All roms that aren't stock are 64 bit.

Really? And just what have you been smoking? His question was a valid one.
