Hi! I just installed this ROM on my OP2. Thank you very much for this.
I am really happy with the smoothness and battery life of my phone. It seems like a new phone.

However, i have minor issues that I am listing below:
- I have no access to the front-facing" camera, and the camera app does not record videos (crashes when i try to). Installed Open camera, I am able to record videos now, but still no access to the front-facing camera.
- Dark mode doesn't work. It just crashes when I enable it.
- The status bar on top has several problems: bluetooth status and data transfer rates are not shown (even when the options are turned on in the definitions), and the clock is always on the left side (even when the option is centered or on the right).
- This one is really weird (perhaps due to Android 9, and not the ROM itself?): before in google maps I had an option not only to save places (yellow stars) but also to add favorite places (red heart) and places that i would like to visit (green flag). I do not have these options anymore, just the basic one to save places with a yellow star, and on my maps I just see those saved places (not the red hearts and green flags, which I see in my PC).

I tested the last version of the ROM, it works fine but with the proximity sensor not working, I cannot hang up (I have a black screen). Is there a solution to this (like disable the sensor in some way)?

Are you on the 23/10 ROM? Ozzy mentioned the sensor is broken...

I noticed some weird behaviour using usb tethering and setting up fp but rest seems good. Maybe a better one comes later...

Thanks for the new update. Installed the new build, but the system makes my screen have the edges curved, tried changing the display cutout, but it just lessens the screen lost. Is this normal? Is there any way to turn off that option?


Edit: cause found. Some Magisk modules caused this bug, erased modules and problem is fixed.

Has there been some work on encryption already? Sorry for asking and not trying by myself, but I don't think my internal storage likes creating my 13GB Backups all the time and the restoring of them. Still want the phone to work for a while

Everything is already fixed you just have to upgrade your Firmware und make a clean install. And the next time it would be helpful to provide logs with red marked errors steps to reproduce and 100$ to get a immediately support.

And no the developers do not get money. They just like to code and if you have bugs and do not want to live with them provide proper logs or silently use another rom.

I don't know my carrier doesn't support VoLTE.
But it was sarcasm that the developers fixed everything just because he said immediately. I thought my sarcasm sign was huge enough

I was curious bcoz I am also trying to build my own custom rom for OP2. I thought to ask developer abt VoLTE implementation. Never mind. Thanks for clarifying.

First of all, thank you so much for keeping this amazing device alive, dear @Ozzy2403 you're amazing!
Everything runs very smooth, can't tell much about the battery so far.

Quick question: Can we remove the search bar entirely from the launcher? Not from the apps view, though, just from the main home screen (I'm probably the only one who actually wants to get rid of this, haha).

well I don't know if volte works because my carrier doesn't provide. but I wouldn't expect it because there were no ims changes made to fw/opt/telephony. also wang said our ims doesn't work actually which wouldn't be surprising with the outdated blobs we have. so maybe we will remove ims completly from op2.

Can't it be ported from your own LOS 15.1 official? (Jio Volte works flawlessly on LOS 15.1 official)

I understand the frustration you might be facing because of constant request for volte by so many people (who forget to see the front page of this thread) but please don't consider removing it all together as for some of us its the primary source of making calls. I am not asking for any ETA, I understand you devs are using your own free time to make these work so please take your time (no matter how long).
