You have to hold power+bixby+volume up until you see the "splash screen" (when you boot there will be that yellow warning text after a few seconds that you have to skip via pressing the power button. You turn your phone off and hold power+bixby+volume up to turn it on (keep the buttons pressed). When that screen with the yellow warning text comes up you keep the buttons pressed for a bit (all of them including the power button)! That way the warning ("splash") screen will disappear right away and as soon as it does you release the buttons). Thats how you boot into magisk enabled rom. If you want to boot into recovery, you turn off your phone, hold power+bixby+volume up until the splash screen comes up and disappears again and release power+bixby (keep volume up pressed!). If you do exactly as i told you and it doesnt work im afraid you have to reflash everything. Ive made the experience that you have to do it right on the first time booting, let me know if it worked

If the battery dies and I keep getting the Galaxy s10 secured by knox screen. How can I bring it back (without a computer). I know I can flash recovery etc, but this is insane, no matter what button combo I could not get it out of that boot loop. Any ideas?

Did you try any of the options stated by twisted61 ? I am actually in the same position but had not time to try it yet. However I share your concern. If your battery dies you have no chance to boot up your phone without having a computer near by to flash TWRP again, booting to TWRP, flashing ivans recovery and booting to it.

Yeah it didn't work for me, ended up just flashing twrp and flashing Ivan's recovery.

I will rebase everything on top of current Q kernel soon(week or so probably), I will also include dtbo and vendor inside of rom itself so you won't have to be on specific firmware except when samsung does significant bl. upgrades which block older tee and trustzone elements in kernels from booting (that is not really often, It happened 2 times total so far)

What also would help a lot of users would be to make LOS17 fully compatible with TWRP.
Flashing the recovery back and forth and getting stuck when using TWRP in boot loops is very annoying.
I think that is the biggest concern right now. Other than that, a really great ROM!

Today when playing 2048, I felt the screen to be less responsive as it should when trying to push the tiles. Sometimes I has to try for 2nd time. I have no protective glass or membrane.

This rom gives me 50% more fps and it is waaay more stable in games than samsung stock, battery life is also better. Checked in Grid, Raptide Renegade, GTA and Shadowgun Online - massive difference, great job.
3G/4G signal sucks, can't be too good

Thank you for this (no special recovery for booting rooted) nice X-mas present! This will help a lot of users getting over the complicated booting process via the recovery and that we finally can use TWRP normally again. Looking forward to it :good:

One hint regarding final testing... In the current version, the battery circle icon won't work. Maybe this can be fixed as well (it is just a minor issue)...

Great news. Thansk. @Ivan_Meler, could you make sure that the next TWRP/ROM is not stucking at bootsplash when FBE is enabled on /data? That would be great! Thanks!

Care to elaborate? Radio partition is not touched by LOS so is stock Samsung one, including stock kernel. This would imply that stock ROM has some network helpers not present in LOS.

I am just saying that in my flat I have 1 bar of signal with LOS17, with stock 3 bars. Maybe it is icon issue as when I make call bars go up by 1 or 2.

Some Roms fake the signal strength, Los should be the real deal.

Real deal with LOS are fps in games for me. Samsung is making s10e slower than s7 in most games. Stock ROM gives me in PUB G on ultra 20fps after 5min, LOS17 have stable 60 even after 2 hours of play on charger with same max graphics settings ( batt temp only 40C tho)
I think it has something to do with Samsung DVFS in their One UI. I can't wait for los17 update!
PS: Camera MX is great.

there are years that i'm away from modding... Now i want to try this Lineage OS port on my s10e as from people comments runs very well.
I'm on latest Android 10 Update, all stock for now. Is this port compatible? When you write needed firmware version what are you talking of? Baseband version or build version?
