Thanks for tour answers strange today I retrieve the.both cameras...

Sometimes you can get back both cameras working just simply by restarting the phone.
Other method is as mentioned by our friend up there, by clearing cache and so on through recovery.

Best regards and stay safe.

Hi,

Tried the solution which you have advised, still it's the same situation. I had to pair my device each time I use it.

mine for first time in 5-6 weeks lost bluetooth passwords, as in saw the device but when you clicked on it it wasnted passcode, i restarted phone and its straight back on them.

Hi everyone

I lost my back camera too (unknown camera id 1) and my flashlight AFTER a wipe dalvik/cache.
I saw your messages and I restarted my onyx, did another wipe dalvik/cache but still doesn't work :(
I can't find any other way…

Had that problem a few times with different ROMs now and figured out that the only thing that worked for me was flashing the StockRom.
So I flashed Stock, after that the latest Lineage 17.1-ROM from Feb. Magisk and Nanodroid and its running quite stable.
Once the camera stoped working but a simple restart solved that one.

After wiping dalvik/cache and rebooting 3 times without results, I thought I'd never turn it off my phone.
I did it and after, back camera and flashlight came back! So shutdown completely your onyx! :good:

Hope the next release will fix that.

I have downloaded lineageOS 17.1 and gapps from the first post here. Cleared system, dalvik, cache, installed both. Phone boots up, but only the back buttons works. The other 2 buttons, don't do anything except make the vibrate on push. Also nothing from the packages I choose to install from Google play actually start to download. When I download something with the browser, I don't see a download notification, but the download silently proceeds and finishes without any notification. The settings button on the upper dock does not work, but the desktop icon for the settings does work. So i can't really use the phone in its current state.

Does anyone also had this problem and was able to solve it? or does anyone know what could be wrong?
It seems to me something is wrong with the google services ?

Seems I just solved it myself..
I redid a clear system, data, dalvick, reinstalled both lineageos and gapps nano. Then the phone kept bootlooping back to recovery. I once again reïnstalled lineageos, but no gapps, and cleared the cache again..
Now it boots, and I get a getting started wizard, which I didn't receive the fist time.. After finishing the wizard.. Now all earlier mentioned issues went away..
Strange.. (at least to me)

Multiple random freezings and reboots with the new build.
Clear install.
Usually it occurs when trying to type in characters like in login forms etc. It freezes and then reboot.

Welcome back @YumeMichi. I am happy to hear you again. Unfortunately, I was to fast, my OPX has also random freezes and reboots. Otherwise, thank you for your work. I am very happy that we have you here.

Same here. This is without Magisk or any other mods.

The reboots are so often that the device has become unusable. I will try another clean install to see what happens...

Could you guys having the reboot problem, try to reproduce it and get (and share of course) a logcat. This would give YumeMichi the chance to find and solve the issue - obviously, there also guys around, who haven't run in it ... yet.

Cheers
Kurt

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10.0 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Base source code is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to the project, please visit our Gerrit Code Review.

    SPECIAL NOTES:
    1. We are using closed OSS camera HAL now. Sultan camera HAL is broken on Q and I don't have much time to fix it.
    2. CPU Input Boost and Simple Thermal Monitor are gone. Welcome back to CAF CPU Boost driver and Thermal Monitor.
