Bottom of settings appWhat's XperiaParts? I don't see that in the app drawer.
Set Preferred network type to 3G, and reboot the phone. after phone is booted, switch back to LTEI updated from 1.5 to 1.7 and since then I Mobile network 4G does not work. I have to set 3G to use phone services at all. Also the WiFi switches off and on all the time.
So, I tried a downgrade to 1.5 again. But that doesn't work either; it does not boot and going straight to TWRP.
Does anyone please have a solution? How to reapair "Mobile network" or how to downgrade without having to start from scratch and install and configure 200+ apps manually.

Yes, I can confirm this. I did a fresh install. I am using the O2 Network in GermanyI figured that it is required to toggle to 3G before every reboot of the cellphone and switch back to 4G after the phone restarted. Once forgotten, you are offline for calls and mobile data.
Can anyone confirm this odd behavior? Probably a downgrade to 1.5 it is the best option for my Xperia XZ1C? Is a downgrade possible without the TWRP loop?

Same issue here as well. It can be resolved without reboot for me by repeatedly toggling 2g 4g and airplane mode(no particular pattern) do this until the 4g registers LTE in the top bar. Upon reboot, it 100% fails to register and I have to do this but it also does this anytime I enter a dead zone and out again.Did it work without the workaround after a fresh install?
Similar behavior on my end. However, it sometimes works, sometimes does not. Most times, I need to switch to 2G/3G after a reboot, but not always. Same thing for out of service areas. Most of the time it will reconnect automatically but sometimes I also need to fall back to 2G/3G manually. This is particularly annoying when driving longer distances.Same issue here as well. Yes, I can confirm this as well. In about 90% of all startups, the phone does not connect to the network and WiFi is shaky (network: Telekom Germany, modem config amss_FSG_lilac_telekom_germany_volte_vowifi_tar.mbn).I figured that it is required to toggle to 3G before every reboot of the cellphone and switch back to 4G after the phone restarted. Weird. As I wrote above, I had a similar problem but it was solved for good after I changed network type to 4G preferred in Settings.Yes, I can confirm this as well. My workaround for the moment:
When I have gone through this process, connection seems to stay stable until I disconnect from the mobile network by e.g. turning on and off airplane mode. Then it stops working again.
- switch to 3G
- wait until it connects
- leave it there for a while (a minute or so)
- switch back to LTE.
I am almost completely at home however at the moment thanks to Covid, thus no switching of mobile network cells etc...
The phone worked flawlessly with 1.6.
In case anybody can point me to an instruction how to create/open e.g. log files I will be happy to provide further information.
Edit: phone runs fine (albeit without VoLTE) if I choose amss_fsg_lilac_telekom_tar.mbn.
Yes, that was what worked for me when I switched from 1.5 to 1.6 - for some reason however this did not do the trick this time... maybe it has to be done in a special order. I remember starting with 1.6 in 3G mode, then switching to 4G directly before the next reboot. This time, I rebooted sveeral times before I remembered I had to do this (phone is shut down every night)Weird. had the same issue, a warning message about how google play services does not support itI notice with 1.7 that Android Auto has stopped working. Anyone else notice this?
I don't have a car to test, but I can install, configure, and launch the Android Auto app.had the same issue, a warning message about how google play services does not support it
Go to settings, carrier settings, set preferred network to 2G. Wait for a minute or so. Switch preferred network back to LTE. This issue was mentioned a couple of times during the last week.I tested this version "lineage-17.1-20201217-UNOFFICIAL-v1.7-lilac.zip"
and in my smartphone, the wifi is always startup, connection ok for 30 secondes and shutdown in the loop.
Another problem, No service with my card SIM bouygues telecom.
