it does not recognize my samsung tv and neither my neighbours tv that shows usually.
i am trying to use wifi-direct.
are you also using wifi-direct or is your tv connected to your local network?

My tv is connected to my local network
I never use screen mirroring so i just tried it because it was not working for you. I dont mind trying some more but could you explain me what i should do to recreate your problem?

edit: i checked wifi direct in settings and all i see there is my phone.

my current device is a rog phone 2.
when it is searching for devices, click on settings and enable wireless screen sharing to see wifi direct devices too.
but i guess you won't see any just like me..

Actually its not working at all on lineage 18 yet, at least not with all merged changes and i did mention not all features are there in 18

Is it possible to dirty-flash this ROM over Ivan's LOS 17.1? I mean just booting in TWRP, flashing LOS 18.zip and magisk-boot.img?

It's probably not a good idea to update 18 over a previous version without a wipe. I've had issues in the post such that I only do a full wipe when flashing any rom. It might be fun to test though if you know how to recover from a mistake. You could do backups and try but expect potential problems.

I've installed and used this ROM for a while (Nov build) and I find it really good. In my usage scenario I couldn't really find any major bugs that would deter me from using it. Thanks a lot, @Ivan_Meler. Looking forward to the patched boot images.

Problem with magisk

Good evening guys,

I have some trouble regarding magisk... I use method detailled in post 3 but every time I boot I arrived to lineage OS recovery...

Can someone explain how to boot well ?

I used bixby + vol UP + power until first warning appears.

i reinstalled the rom after flashing stock rom so i could check this with the warning animation.
For me it works perfectly. The warning is there only for a sec for me. After that release it and it should start to Lineage. What happens if you dont press anything? Does is boot in to lineage or does it also boot into recovery ?

If I pressed just one second it boot on lineage recovery. If I just pressed power it boot on lineage. I don't specially need Root but I want galaxy wearable app cause I have Galaxy buds and watch

Hmm thats weird, y i use buds and watch aswell so it was a must for me too. But iḿ able to boot into rooted lineage every time..No idea whats going wrong for you mate.

Try to reboot from recovery to recovery (not system). If it doesn't work then you did something wrong.

Anybody here facing a video playing issue on Insta on this ROM?

It glitches sometimes, but I've only ever noticed it on Insta. Tried recording it and the glitching is 10x worse while being recorded.

Going back and forth between stories/reels fixes it for a bit before it starts glitching again.
