atleast provide patches on 14.1 for security

even is 15.1 is not possible... it would be good to get security updates. my s3 gets weekly security patches on lineage 14.1 and its so good.

I did and searched for hours in this this thread with no clear and direct solution. I did figure it out though. You must not end system app when force close box appears on first boot.

that is weird. when it happens fro time to time i do close it and i am not having any problems with wifi.

I bought a N8013 today, not knowing that the android version was so ancient no modern apps would work on it. While I have done things like this in the past, I am far from an expert, so I have been closely following the steps in this thread and am having an issue.

Everything seems to work smoothly, except the wifi on the tablet. I type in the password, and instead of connecting it simply says "saved" or goes back and forth between "authenticating" and "saved".

I searched the thread and found several other people having this issue, but no confirmed fixes for the problem. Everyone just seems to respond with "I'm not having that problem!" or by telling the person to search the thread for the answer, neither of which is very helpful.

The only suggestion I found in the thread was one user saying to install "GT-N8013-KK-WiFi-Fix.zip". But when I saved the zip to my tablet and installed it with TWRP nothing was fixed.

Hoping someone can help me out, because otherwise this thing is nothing but junk.

Hi, can anyone help me?
Every time I try to download the rom for N8000 the download fail and I receive a 410 error message, I've tried to download the file multiple times using two different devices and the same thing happens, what can I do? My internet connection is ok

I've also tried to download the marshmallow rom with no luck

For me i Find Blisspop (If you like customization and AOSP) the most stable or Android revolution 21 ( more like stock)

Well cm13 and blisspop is a lot like lineage... No bloat... I haven't installed Android Rev 21 like in 4 months so can't remember really

It also depends what gapps you use on blisspop and cm13... Use pico or nano

Hi, I'm installing this rom on my N8000 but screen is stopped with le blue line from about 20 minutes. It doesn't start. It is normal to wait so much for the first start or I must re-flash ?

I had to install CM13 because this rom goes in bootloop for my N8000.
Any solution ?

May there is a problem with TWRP.
Version 2.8.7.0 for N8000 has two variant:
1- gt-n8000 ==> I install this one
2- p4noterf

Can I try with second recovey ?
