Hi Lanchon,PSA:
you can now repartition your N7000 without a PC and without loosing your data
head on over here... REPIT
RTFM? I did not test, but according to https://github.com/Lanchon/REPIT/blob/master/README.md , you just need to download https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995314133 , rename and flash it.I would like to have a 3GB System, 6GB data, minimum preload and maximum SDcard. for the N7000.
Thx for it. It is a very useful thingPSA:

Why do you need so much space on the /system partition? 2Gb should be more than enough to fit also big gapps packages.Hi Lanchon,
I would like to have a 3GB System, 6GB data, minimum preload and maximum SDcard. for the N7000. How do I go about this? Please help me.
Thanks and Regards
Madsun
Which repos do you use?On Monday I built RR for the n7000 successfully, later I flashed it and noticed that my SIM wasn't working. So i checked my IMEI and it showed UNKNOWN and my BASEBAND too.
Today I flashed NightOwl Rom and now it's working perfectly!
What did I do wrong?
EDIT:
I have to say that, I built it two times and on both builds it didn´t work.
I have been compiling rr rom for N7000. Did you include all the needed ril changes, samsung_symbols and ril_wrapper in galaxys2-common,n7000 and hardware/samsung?
and also this commits?

@bauner ril works fine on my rr builds, do I need to merge these commits?

In my repos you have the needed commits.I used this repos:
android_kernel_samsung_tw_n7000
cm-android_device_samsung_galaxys2-common
cm-android_device_samsung_n7000
cm-proprietary_vendor_samsung
cm-android_hardware_samsung
But I didn't include the commits.
Excuse me Bauner... Do you think I should increase the size of the system partition ?Thx for it. It is a very useful thing
Why do you need so much space on the /system partition? 2Gb should be more than enough to fit also big gapps packages.
I made 2 zip files:
lanchon-repit-20160406-system=same+keep+ext4-data=6+keep+ext4-sdcard=max+keep+vfat-preload=same+keep+ext4-n7000.zip
Download: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24499762635999029
system=unmodified
data=6gb
sdcard0=~7gb
preload=unmodified (to make it possible to go back to a stock rom without the need to repartition again)
lanchon-repit-20160406-system=2+keep+ext4-data=6+keep+ext4-sdcard=max+keep+vfat-preload=min+wipe-n7000.zip
Download: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24499762635999027
system=2gb (if you really need 3gb system just rename -system=2 to -system=3)
data=6gb
sdcard0=something around 6gb
preload=a few mb
Here you can find more details about how to modify the filename if you want different partition layouts:
https://github.com/Lanchon/REPIT
I have tested the first one myself with the isorec twrp (it may fail with the philz recovery) and it worked well without any data loss.
Installing it from the sdcard1 will fail the first time (because the sdcard is in use and can't unmounted) but the file gets copied to /tmp in this step.
After this select the file to install from /tmp again and it should work
But to go sure make a backup of your rom and sdcard0 before you start.
xxlt3 should work finewhich modem to use in Italy with this version ? thank you
The /system partition is only used for the rom +gapps +some mods like xposedExcuse me Bauner... Do you think I should increase the size of the system partition ?
