Hi,

I upgraded from 12.1 to 13.1 Rom on 10-Jun, it works fine without trouble.
I just want to know that phone memory is shown 809 MB out of which 80-85% is used.
This ROM is bit slow if I compare with 12.1.

Is it normal ?

Check your apps and see if anything is taking up a lot of ram (like Facebook or Snapchat). CM13.1 will feel 'heavy' after install but should be a bit better after a few hours.

any fix to the sms app? all is fast but opening messages has considerable lag. like up to 5 seconds.

The camera quality is good in CM13.
Sure, it does take a lot of time to take the picture after taping but camera quality seems quite nice.

Viber + Whats app ( Reboots the Phone _

HI there , does anyone have problem with Viber calls? when i take a call nothing hapens..after ending a call phone resets/reboots itself and then theres "no sim" notification ,after that i must reboot phone once again ,after that all is ok... anyone had this issue?

Yes i had been facing this issue from this update , but to bypass this , when you are on call in Viber or whats app don't do multitasking , Just attend the call it's fine , but when you minimize the call and do something in the phone it reboots for me .

The 20160616 Rom is finish as OTA update and manual download

Changes:

* Merged cm changes
* June security patches
* Many updates from the smdk4412 kernel (mostly for zRam and Lmk)
* Added Westwood TCP Algorithm
* Added Sio/Sioplus scheduler
* Mali 3 step 160/200/267MHz
* 13 CPU steps
* zRam use lz4 compression
* 400MB zRam lz4 2 stream
* Back to Ondemand
* Removed custom lmk override (make it more aggressive)

Then you need to update the rom first because isorec is only supported since cm12.1 20160215

And for new NightOwl cm12.1 questions please use the cm12.1 thread, because this one is for cm13

Thanks bauner , I've installed the latest cm13 night owl along and repartitioned the device along with the link you've provided.

Finally after a year of catching dust and charging cable not working, I have got this phone up and running and I hope to use it to download things while I'm away , rather than downloading to my desktop

@mn4april, have you considered repartitioning your device ?? Because the op mentions, apps take up alot of more space due to ART.

Flashing a zip that replaces the files in /system/lib seems to make me stuck in the boot screen. This behaviour wasn't in CM12.1 though

After an install of 20160616 Rom from scratch there are no messages in the upper left corner. but the message sound works well. so i can't see from witch app the message is.
also the pull down menu with the wifi bluetooth etc. buttons are missing.
This problem was also in the older updates.
so i installed beta5 and then 20160616 again and it works.

Also i can not get into TWRP if the battery charger is charging.

I will be flashing the new version in two days but I have a problem with a previous release.

My phone won't charge for some reason. It shows that charging is in progress but doesn't charge.
Sometimes it does charge but shows like it will be full in 6 hours.

I have to unplug and replug the charger 10 times to start charging at proper speeds.
Any idea why this is happening?

Is your battery usager normal if the charger is not connected?
If yes did you try also another charger?
It is also possible that you need to replace your usb connector.

It could also be the battery but if you not had problems like screen flickering before then I would try to clean or replace the usb port before buying a new battery.

You can also try if it will charge with normal speed if the device is turned off to ensure that not an app is causing an high battery drain in the background

LibEGL.so, libEGL_orig.so, libGLESv1_CM.so, libGLESv1_CM_orig.so, libGLESv2.so, libGLESv2_orig.so

These files were needed to allow a program to modify app graphics.
