I don't know if it is just me, but the times when I have Wi-Fi on, it drains more battery than the screen does. I always turn Wi-Fi off when I'm not using it, and when I am using it, it's usually just to check Snapchat, Insta and Facebook. Don't know if it's just for me.
Another thing that I've noticed is the bluetooth. I use the Poweramp app, and sometimes when I've connected my headphones, the music laggs. I can get like 1 second of music and then like 4 seconds of blank, and then it goes on like that. When I try the other music app, it's the same. It gets fixed when rebooting, but then I get like small, very quick signal breaks. It doesn't matter if I'm half a meter from the phone, or 10. And it gets even worse when opening another app. It's like the phone thinks it should output sound from the other app, even though there isn't any sound in that app at all.

Don't really know how to explain it, and I don't know if these two problems only occur to me?
Appreciate tips :)

I do get a nice battery life when I am at school by 6am to 12noon, I can use the phone until 5pm with Wifi, sometimes I'm on mobile data.

I have wifi on the most of the time and I don't have an high battery drain with it.
Will you also have the music lags with wired headphone or only with bluetooth?
Maybe something other is stressing your device and cause the high battery drain and the music lag

Hey there.
I've tried playing Asphalt Nitro on my n7000 but the issue is when I tilt to left the car tilts to the right and vice versa. Is it a problem with my device's calibration?

Hey everyone. Got strange behavior on my n7000. Cannot press certain buttons like the 'install'-button or the su-'grant root' button. They are there, but all over sudden they don't have a function anymore. Lots of space on /system, no unusual things in the logs. Wiped art-cache and /cache. What now?

Forget about my last post. If you experience the behaviour described above, you witness android security at work. You cannot install an app oder grant root while running an overlay at the same time. In my case it was twilight, a redshift alternative for android. Once I paused redshift I was able to allow installations and root again.

I think it's because WiFi is always on, even when it's off.
At least that's the case for me.
It's like the WiFi → Advanced → Scanning always ON option in Lollipop.
But there is no option to disable scanning always ON option in Marshmallow.

About my previous post regarding video decoder stops working, it hasn't stopped working ever since. :(
I watched videos for three hours straight and it still was working fine. Eventually I went to sleep.
It did stop working at one time but as soon as I started recording a log and played a video, it started working again.
But I will surely post it the next time it stops working.

Also, a question, my battery life is awesome when at home. 3 hours of screentime usually.
But as soon as I leave home, if I am lucky, I would get 1 hour of screentime. Other times it's usually 45 minutes.
And on idle phone can last 3 days when I am at home if I don't use it even a bit but when I am outside, I get only like 6 hours of idle time.

Why so?

Dou you use wifi at home?
Do you have gps or bluetooth enabled?

What are you planing to change? Are some new futures coming or stability Updates? Sometimes you could give us some Sneak preview about your Plans.
Here are the changes from my current testversion

update interactive governor
update defconfig
kernel fix move apps to sd
back to stock samsung usb gadget driver to fix the freezes with usb mass storage in recovery
zeitferne freeze fix
update row iosched
merged cm changes
january security patches
back to aosp webview to fix some webview related apps
vold: Make public volumes publicly writable based on WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
fix ext sd permissions for some apps (like titanium backup)
camera add storage location
stock browser will ask for storage permissions on download instead of crashing with permission denied
audio recorder storage permissions fixed - need to close and reopen sound recorder after granting permissions
wifi disconnect sometimes in standby seems to be fixed

it is almost finish but gps is broken again and I currently don't know the reason.
If the gps is fixed I will release it

I use WiFi as well as 3G at home.
When I am outside, 3G.
No, I don't have Bluetooth and GPS enabled.

Could it be because I am travelling usually when I am outside and constantly switching between network towers and I am in low network areas sometimes is causing battery to drain faster?

I get battery drain on low network strength areas (especially in the rurals) too. That's probably the main cause as your phone struggles to keep up or is constantly scanning for better networks.

On another note, will there be an option to implement 12-step frequencies in the kernel?

I too though the same, just wanted to confirm before jumping to conclusions. Thank you.

Maybe later

Is there some solution for broken video recording? Some other app or something else?
Video recording should work without problems.

Anyone know how to disable the weather in status bar? I tried between cLock widget but without success.

what did i do wrong with my cam? Its really not recording videos. Everything else is working fine, so i was thinking, its a beta-rom-bug. When i press the buton to record the video, it makes kind of a photo and the cam-app freezes! i didnt install any other and used the same gapps from the first post!

please help somebody to solve it.

two other bugs: I connect my phone with a car via blootooth, after conversation ends, phone rebooting and wifi after this not working. after restart wifi works again.

Well, I went into settings and into location and turned off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning, which always allows certain apps and services to discover wi-fi networks and bluetooth devices. While it did lower my Wi-Fi drain, I'm still having problems with bluetooth. When the next release comes out, I shall format the entire phone and remove unnecessary folders, files etc. Maybe there are still some junk that are intervening since 5.1.1, even though I did a clean install.
