Quick Setting Issue

Hi bauner,

Thanks for your all hard work and nice rom.

I had done an OTA update fron Beta 1 to Beta 2 and after update I found that Quick settings (Swipe down from the top of the screen) is showing very small non view able icons as shown in the attached image. (very small icons, except airplane mode icon which is too big)

Other than this I found 'TTY' written near wifi signal (Sorry but I am not aware what it is, earler in Beta 1 it's not there)

Just curios if I missed some steps or it's kind of a cosmetic issue

Tried a clean install of beta 2 + opengapps. Boot completed and got a message of external storage has stopped. And settings - storage & USB force closed settings.

Also when the battery percentage is enabled it disappears very often.

This can happen if something is wrong with one of your sdcards.
First you can try if it is working if you remove the external sdcard.
If this will not help you can try to boot into recovery (backup the internal sdcard to your pc) and format the internal sdcard as vfat

my sdcard0 name is "m-^ipng^m^j^z^j" , how i fix it?

This was also reported a few times on older versions. For the most users it fixed itself after some time or after some reboots.
If it will not fix itself you can try to format the internal sdcard in the recovery as vfat

Interactive governor is fun, thanks bauner. Btw, it looks like there is a transition from Busybox to Toybox in the CM build which broke an app of mine. Will there be any implication if I install Busybox?

It should be no problem to install busybox

2.52 works for me just fine.

Hi. System app show 2 webview. It is mandatory for me to delete google webview or I can keep both apps. TQ

In beta 2 the google webview is not used so it should be safe to remove it. But to go sure you should first try to freeze it with an app freezing app or make a backup of the rom in the recovery.

For me it is working fine.
Please try to go back to the standard theme

What video player are you using? I'm currently using mx player but non of the videos/movies are showing up both from Internal and SD Card. I'm on Beta 2 coming from fresh install.

How is the name of the sdcard if you connect your phone to the pc?

same name and its not change on computer or with es file manager.

I have similar issue using Euforia theme, at the same time I have 2 webview app in system. Later I delete Google Webview and reboot, done, problem gone. I don't know if its related or reboot system simply fix it. So u may try again?

Same as mine, but after I reinstall SU in system,reboot, auto rotate work again until now. Before that I have reboot several time and it happen again & again.

For me it is working.

This is because older versions used google webview.
The google webview did receive updates from the playstore which are installed to the /data partition.
The beta2 is using the default aosp webview but an earlier installed webview update will stay in the /data partition but it is not more used in beta2 and you can remove it

Beta 2 too slow, returned to beta 1.1

Beta 2 takes much more time than beta 1.1 to launch certain apps.

Had to return to beta 1.1 therefore.

Auto rotate works fine here. I have issues with stuttering audio playback after device was in deep sleep. Reboot fixes it, happens again after deep sleep. Investigating CatLog now.

Updated from beta1 to beta2 via ota update little issue with icons but choosing default theme and reboot fix it
Only one question booting into recovery from the built-in option make the battery drops dramatically.
Does someone face it too?
