I have installed the preview. It's working quite nice for a first build.
Battery life is quite good, shows me the phone will last for 19 days on idle (but that maybe because of most of the stuff, including WiFi is not working).

In the OP it states clearly N7000, So your needs are allready satisfied, you just need to read. It is not automatically N7somethingmorethanthreetimeszero. XDA rule 0: Read. Not just the top of your screen, but the OP.

This is the NightOwl CM14 Android 7 build from source for the Galaxy Note 1 GT-N7000/GT-N7000B

This CM14 based ROM is currently a very early preview version with a lot of missing or broken functions and NOT ready for normal usage!

Use my Roms only if you are sure about the risks of flashing custom Roms/Kernel to your device. I'm is not responsible for any damage caused by using one of my files.

Known Bugs cm14 early Preview:
Currently the rom is booting and can be used to get a first Android 7 taste but almost everything for a regular usage is currently not working (RIL,WIFI,Browser,Camera...)
Don't try to install Gapps!

Because this is an early realise. It's in its alpha stage. You can try and flash it to have a taste of android 7 however this is not stable enough for everyday use as most functions do not work at present time. ?
